Hawk Galloway, Chief of Artillery, who had been holding back the centaur onslaught with his men, noticed the Argo coming out of the city gate.

"Sergeant Riseman," cried Galloway.

"Yes sir." Paul Reisman didn't like Galloway, but as a soldier he respected his superiors.

"Take your men and retreat to the Argo."

"Yes sir...No, why are we doing this? You should retreat."

"Unfortunately my cannon is facing backwards, but yours is facing sideways so I can shoot."

"Is it an order to bombard the enemy?"

"Don't bombard the enemy, shoot as a signal to complete the retreat. We will retreat when we hear that."

"Then let's retreat together."

"You don't just retreat. You retreat while rescuing the wounded. Some of the injured are unable to move on their own. Then you're too busy rescuing them to fight back. you guys need help. we support."

You look cool, Man of Iron! Although Riseman was dissatisfied, he decided to follow the order. "Yes sir."

Riseman and his men began to retreat. As Galloway said, many people were lying wounded. Risemen asked them, "Are you okay?" "Can you move?" They helped the wounded. Those who didn't respond, unfortunately, had no choice but to leave them there.

Among the wounded, those who were mildly injured and were able to move voluntarily helped other wounded.

"You have a little boo-boo. Hold on to yourself!"

A big man was supporting his buddy to walk because of leg injury during workout. A thick arrow was deeply pierced into the buttocks of the big man. Riseman recognized the big man. It was Deke Anderson, the Scandinavian harpooner who was awarded for slaying Scylla. In that battle, Riseman was helpless and jealous of the performance of Deke Anderson in the lead car and Galloway in the tail car. However, Riseman honestly praised Deke Anderson's efforts now, even more than that time.

There were so many wounded that the Risemen took them to the Argo and then turned back again and again to help the next wounded. The retreat took longer than Riseman expected. Riseman wasn't sure if he had saved all the survivors. But he couldn't keep Galloway in danger forever.

I did my best. Riseman made that decision and ordered the cannons to fire.

"Fire!"

The 305 mm artillery on car No. 8, which had never been used before, caught fire for the first time.

Hawk Galloway heard the sound of cannon fire.

"Begin retreat!"

Galloway hoisted his saber red with the blood of the centaurs and shouted.
