"Is it possible to undo the merged world?" asked Dorothy.
"I'm sorry, but I don't know," replied Prometheus.
Dorothy sighed. "Then we and you have no choice but to coexist. But it is difficult. It would be nice if the creatures in your world were gentlemen like you or my friend Giles, but some creatures aren't. "
"It's the same with you," said Prometheus. "My brother Epimetheus was killed by humans for a bet."
"I'm sorry for your loss." Dorothy expressed regret on behalf of humanity. She took it seriously. Is there a way for the creatures of the two worlds to understand each other and coexist, even if it is not possible for all of them, but only for those who desire peace? Then Dorothy had an idea.
"I will soon be a journalist. I would like to campaign against the war in newspaper. How about that? "
"I think it's a very good idea," Prometheus smiled.
"Thank you," said Dorothy, and then she wondered if Prometheus knew what the newspaper meant. Is there a newspaper in his world, Barsoom? But she didn't ask him about it. Whether he knew what it meant or not, he was a gentle giant.
Dorothy hugged the little finger of Prometheus' right hand to show their friendship.
"I will put my plan into action as soon as possible. First, I will hurry to the town where the newspaper office is located. But I don't know how. "
Prometheus kindly taught her. "Ride Pegasus just like you did when you got here."
"But he, Pegasus, won't listen to me. I asked him to get off, but he wouldn't get off at all. "
"Pegasus doesn't understand words. If you want to go down, tilt your center of gravity forward. If you want to go up, go backward. Right if right. Left if left."
"I can do it?"
"You can do it," encouraged Dorothy by Prometheus. It wasn't until some time after the flight that she realized that the giant Prometheus had never ridden Pegasus.
(As an aside, analysis of aerial photographs and other sources suggests that this location may be Sevehah Cliff, California. Coincidentally, there is a lake called Convict Lake nearby.)
