Day 2

Opening my eyes, I see...

Darkness.

I try to move but realize I'm tied up.

So, I'm not dead? Wait... I'm moving.

I use my 'abilities' to sense where I am, I see a vehicle, a man in all black driving and kids tied up with bags over their heads.

I've been taken.

By the Black Crows.

This is bad....Really bad.

The vehicle comes to a stop.

What's happening?

Someone opens a door and removes a bag from my head, they do the same with the others.

"Do as I say and no one gets hurt." A Black Crow commands sternly earning scared and frightened nods from us.

The Black Crow unties our legs and we come out, some guys with guns lead us to a room, other kids are there too.

I notice the girl I saved is there, she has short platinum blonde hair and pale blue eyes, she is looking around the room, and looks scare, I mean who wouldn't be in this situation?

A Black Crow takes me over to her and tells me to sit down, I do as he says.

The girl stares at me.

"Witch girl?" she says in a questioning tone making me roll my eyes.

"That's what everyone calls you right?"

 I shrug, "Yeah, I guess."

The blonde girl smiles at me. "I'm Liv." She introduces herself, "Thanks for saving my ass back there."

So, she remembers?

"I'm Eris." I tell her, "And you're welcome. What were you doing in the woods anyway?"

"Oh, my sister and I got into a huge fight and my parents took her side as usual. I got angry and went into the woods to cool off, that's when some Black Crow tried to kill me." She explains, "What about you?"

"I was helping my foster siblings when I heard your screams."

"Oh." she frowns, "Thanks for helping but I kind of had that situation under control." The girl, Liv says coyly.

"Sure." I roll my eyes.

A Black Crow hits a metal rod on the wall and draws our attention to him.

"PRINCE AJAX ARRIVES!" He announces, his loud deep voice booming throughout the small room.

Everyone stays silent as a dark-haired boy with green eyes enters the room, he is dressed in all black and I assume he is the prince.

"Greetings your majesty." A Black Crow bows, "we have some new arrivals." He gestures to the rest of us who are looking up at him unsurely. Ajax seems delighted by our growing fear, he nods to the guard, dismissing him.

"Hello slaves!" He speaks, "For those who don't know already, I'm Prince Ajax! Seventh son of the almighty King Terros!"

Black crows cheer.

Prince Ajax continues, "You have been brought here from your towns to work. Disobedience leads to death. Talking back leads to death. Failing or refusing to do your duties leads to death. Trying to escape leads to torture, then death."

Gee, what a wonderful place.

Prince Ajax walks towards Liv and me. He looks at Liv and smirks.

What's going on?
