"Hey! Wake up."

My eyes flicker open and adjust to the bright lighting, the golden rays of the sun blinding me. When my vision is clear, I see Levi looking down at me with a warm smile.

I get up and stretch while yawning in an attempt to loosen my stiff joints. "What's going on?" I ask.

Levi smirks, "I think we're getting close." He says. I frown and rub my eyes again, "What are you talking about?"

"The archives!" He exclaims cheerfully, "We're getting closer."

I raise an eyebrow and tilt my head slightly, "How do you know?" I inquire crossing my arms.

"I kind of just know."

Really?

"You're crazy."

Levi just smiles, "Trust me. Now, eat your breakfast, we have a lot to do today."

I groan, "Fine."

After eating the salty roasted fish Levi prepared for me, I pack my things and soon we're ready to leave.

"Did you have any weird dream last night?" Levi suddenly asks as we walk through the thick forest. "It wasn't really a dream." I shrug, kicking a stone along the muddy dirt trail, "I fell into the abyss, but it wasn't the abyss, it was like a... memory."

"A memory?" Levi echoes.

I nod, "Yes, there was this castle and Nyx was a queen receiving some guests..it was odd." I say, remembering Ruuben from the dream and his powers.

I'm still fascinated by that.

"I had a similar experience." Levi remarks, "Erebus was a king and he was joking with some servants in the dream. After that, he went to the library to read...The book he was reading was titled 'The Archives'." He explains.

"Is that why you think we're getting closer.?"

Levi nods, a small smile forming on his lips, "The archives are real!"

I nod, "Yes but there is still a chance they are not."

Levi shrugs, "But still."

Hm, maybe he's right? Maybe they're real! I really hope they are. That would solve so many problems.

"Eris?" Levi begins, his gaze fixed on the ground, I turn my attention to him. "Yes?"

"I.." He pauses, "Never mind."

"Oh..okay."

I frown. What did he want to tell me? He looked sad and worried.

Maybe it wasn't important?

If it was, I hope he tells me soon.

                                                                     HOURS LATER

I'm picking some violet-colored wild berries from a bush when Levi runs up to me with this huge grin on his face. He's panting and looks really excited.

Woah, what's going on with him?

What did he find?

"What's up with you?" I ask, placing some wild berries in a bag as he catches his breath.

"I..I've found it."

I raise an eyebrow, my heart picking up speed, "Found what?"

Levi rolls his eyes at me and I pout.

"The archives!"

No way...

There is no way he could've...
