Ever since Levi and I learned about...well..everything, there has been this uncomfortable looming tension between us.

The most casual conversations are now said with a hint of awkwardness.

Right now, we are on our way back to Black Crow territory.

Levi comes closer to me with unsure steps, I look at him, waiting for the upcoming question.

"So, what's the plan?" He asks, his attention fixed on the rocky path we are passing. I pause, "Erm..."

Nyx comes into my confused thoughts, relieving me, "The blood gem. You guys need to get the blood gem."

I turn to Levi who is waiting for me, his eyes full of curiosity, "We need to get the blood gem from Terros."

Levi nods, "Alright then."

Somehow, Levi and I figured our way back to Black Crow territory, like the kingdom has some invisible force that pulls us towards it. Since our awakening, I have noticed a lot of subtle changes in the way we think and act.

I assume it's some sort of Raven thing.

Levi suddenly falls to the ground, I rush over to him as help him up, gently raising him by his right arm. He holds his head as if massaging a small headache.

"Are you okay?" I ask concerned. He nods, carefully pulling away from my frightened grip. He composes himself and squints at me, as if meeting me for the first time. This new look in his eyes is distant and kind of worrying.

"Let's go." Levi waves, continuing down the rocky path like nothing happened.

Over the next few days, Levi and I don't say much to each other, only little, 'Over here', 'I'm hungry', and 'let's rest heres.'

The hours and minutes seem to go by in a haze, like the afternoon wind passing by. Levi seems off, nothing he says makes me think that but his overall demeanor and aura give off this odd feeling that I cannot trace.

Even with our exhaustion, fatigue and achy feet, Levi and I somehow managed to find our way back to the gates of the Black Crow territory. He uses his mind control to trick the guards into opening the gates, their pupils and irises disappear leaving only an eerie white color. We let ourselves in and the second we do; my head starts throbbing. I choose to ignore the pain as it isn't too bad.

Levi and I make our way to the main town, staying low and ducking behind small bushes and corners to avoid being seen. I turn to Levi who is staring straight ahead, looking for our next hiding spot.

"Let's disguise ourselves." I whisper pointing at a small clothing shop in the distance. Levi nods and runs out of the bushes heading straight for the shop. I follow in his footsteps.

The small wooden door flings open, ringing a small bell above the frame. The owner turns around to meet us and widens their eyes in shock, stretching out an arm to point, "Hey! You're..."

Before the woman can finish, I kill her instantly turning her body into unrecognizable ashes.

Wasting no time, Levi grabs a black shirt, Jacket, boots and hat. I get a black dress, boots and cloak with a hood. The two of us go into separate changing rooms and put on the clothes, when we come out again it's like we're two different people.

The two of us go into town with our new disguises. Luckily, nobody recognizes us.

"The blood gem Eris." Nyx says softly slightly increasing my tolerable headache.

Okay, okay sure but why are you in such a hurry anyway?

"Just get the gem Eris."

Ugh fine.
