All day, I've had a terrible headache. Bryce is still angry at me. Ava seems to have cooled down, but she still isn't talking. I feel like she's forgiven me, but, I'm not sure.
There has been an awkward silence since morning. The tension in the air is overwhelming.
After some hours of walking through the woods, Levi speaks up.
"So..are we going somewhere?" He asks, "Because to me it feels like we've been walking in circles."
Everyone stays silent, the sound of the branches and singing of the birds is all that is heard.
"Look," Levi continues, "I know Bell's death was shocking but..."
"Oh, shut up!" Bryce snaps, shooting Levi a nasty glare, "You're just trying to justify your horrible actions!"
Levi sighs, "What did I do? I wasn't the one responsible for Bell's wellbeing! You were! "
Bryce doesn't say anything else. He looks down at the ground, hand in pockets.
"Bryce," Levi begins, "Look, I didn't mean..."
"Just..shut up." Bryce says, "Please."
Levi gives a resigned nod, and we continue down the path in silence until Liv spots something.
"Hey! Look it's wild berries!" She exclaims, her mood suddenly lifting.
"Oh!" Ava smiles picking some berries from the bush, "I haven't eaten these in years."
"Let's take some for the trip." I say. Ava gives me a small smile.
Ok, progress.
Liv, Ava, Levi and I pick some berries from the bush and keep them in our bags.
Liv turns to Ajax who is wearing a curious look on his face, "Do you want some?" She asks, "They're nice."
Ajax stares at the berries in Liv's hand before shrugging, "Sure. I guess."
He takes a berry from Liv and eats hit, smiling a bit, "It's good." He says, "They're nice."
We continue our journey through the land. About four hours later, we stumble upon an abandoned city.
"What the..." Liv begins awestruck, her mouth agape.
"An abandoned city?" Ava asks.
"Looks like it." Bryce says.
"Maybe..it used to be Black Crow territory?" I suggest, looking at Ajax. He shakes his head.
"No." Ajax says, "Black Crow territory has been the same for over a thousand years."
"Well, it isn't White Dove territory...So, what is it?" Ava inquires.
"Only one way to find out." Bryce shrugs. He runs into the city, and we go after him.
The city is beautiful with tall, ruined structures. Nature has already started taking over the area as vines are growing all over the walls of the city.
I've never heard of a lost city. Not even in fairy tales or legends and judging by the look on Ajax's face, he hasn't heard of anything like that either.
It makes you wonder what happened here.
" Looks like there was a war here." Liv remarks, earning a nod from the others, "I wonder what happened."
As we explore, I feel some sort of energy flow through me, as if I'm connected to this place.
"Do you feel that?" Levi asks turning to me and I nod.
