Day 6

I haven't eaten or drunk any water for what I think is three days. It's not much for me but it is for Nyx, every minute she's feeding off my soul and the more she eats the more I die.

Liv hasn't been around, Ava told me not to worry but I'm still afraid.

My eyes start to feel heavy and I close them, I can feel myself fading away, the physical world doesn't feel real anymore and I'm too weak to care.

Is this it? Goodbye cruel world!

I hear some shuffling, probably a guard, someone taps my shoulder and I force my eyes open.

Ocean blue orbs meet mine, a boy with brown curly hair and pale freckles is staring back at me.

He's cute is the first thing I think and not why he didn't let me die in peace.

"Hey! Are you okay?" He asks and I stay silent. I can't say anything, it's like my vocal cords are dried up.

"I brought you some food!" The boy says pulling out a wrapped-up meal. "You need to eat now or else you could die!"

Yes, I think I know that.

The sweet aroma of the food tickles my nose. I snatch the meal from the boy's hands and start eating.

Heaven does exist.

"You must've been very hungry." The boy laughs and I nod.

That laugh sounds so angelic.

That must be it! I'm in heaven and this boy is an angel receiving me! How could I have been so stupid?

"What are you looking at?" The ocean eyed angel asks passing me a bottle of water, I chug it down contentedly.

"You're an angel!" I yell once my vocal cords feel refreshed. I sound like a happy fool but I don't care how stupid I sound, at least I'm in heaven and I don't have to deal with the world again.

The angel laughs again, and I smile.

"I wish...But I'm just an ordinary kid like you." He extends his arm, "I'm Levi by the way."

So, I'm not in heaven? What a dissapointment. I should have guessed as much since the familiar rat smell of the cells still remains.

I shake his extended arm. "I'm Eris."

"Eris." He echoes, "Discord, I like it."

My cheeks start to feel hot at his comment.

"How long have you been here?" I ask the boy; he furrows his eyebrows.

"Erm..If you really want to know..About two years."

Two years? That's pretty long.

I finish the last piece of food and lick my finger s in an attempt to savour the flavor.

"Thankyou for saving me. How did you get the key?"

"I kind of have a thing for stealing." He gives a sheepish grin, "Not the best quality but it's helpful."

I nod and notice a bandage wrapped around his arm; he sees me staring.

"Workshop accident." He explains.

"Oh. You didn't wrap it up well; it might get infected." I point out.

He unwraps the bandage and wraps it again, "Thanks for the tip."

"It's the least I could do."

Levi and I stare into each other's eyes for a few seconds, I notice I can hear his thoughts.
