Day 61

AHHHHHHHH!!!

I'm screaming because I'm falling into a dark void.

Why?

Nyx summoned me.

I Finally land on the cold hard bottom of the void.

"This again!?" I ask frustrated with a frown.

"Yes." Nyx replies in a smug tone.

I roll my eyes, "You really need to stop doing that."

"No."

"Ugh!" I look around, "Why are we here?"

"I wanted to talk to you alone."

Nyx reveals herself, her dark eyes and tentacles in all their glory.

"You know how the Black Crow guards have been keeping a constant eye on you?" She begins.

"Yes." I nod, "Why?"

It's been two months since I was kidnapped and, in that time, a lot has happened.

Like when I touched a mysterious red gem in the king's castle and all hell broke loose.

Since then, the guards have been keeping an eye on me, they even learned my name!

"Don't you find that a bit odd?" Nyx continues, I shrug. "Yes..But it's not a big deal."

"What if they find out about your powers?"

"You mean our powers?" I correct her crossing my arms, "Not going to happen."

"I think it already has!" Nyx tells me, "Remember what Ajax told you!"

Oh right, the thing about knowing who I am.  "I've already thought about it and concluded he was just joking with me." I say, my head held up high.

Nyx rolls her eyes..Or I think she does, I wouldn't know her eyes are black orbs.

 "Do you really think the prince will just joke around like that?" Nyx asks me sternly.

" Yes? " I nod. I wanted to sound positive but my reply didn't come out the way I expected it to. "Ajax is capable of doing such."

"Well, joke or not you need to be careful." Nyx warns.

Before I can answer, she sends me back to my consciousness. I open my eyes and see Liv kneeling beside me.

"I've been trying to wake you up for five minutes!" She says shaking my shoulders, "I was starting to think you were dead."

"Sorry..." I apologize blinking as I was still trying to shake the feeling of sleep from my body. "I guess I was in a deep sleep."

"Well, we've missed breakfast." She tells me and stands up; Liv stretches her hand to help me up and I stand.

"So..Let's just go meet the others." She smiles and I nod.

Liv and I go to the rest. Levi and Bryce are talking while raking some leaves and Ava and Bell are walking around. Guards watch closely as Liv and I walk up to them, I read a one of their minds.

'Those girls are big trouble..Why do I have to be on morning duty? Wait...Did I clean my teeth this morning?'

I leave the Guard's thoughts.

Too much information.

I've gotten better at reading minds. It's helping me a lot, but something odd has been happening, I can't hear Levi's thoughts. It's like he built a brick wall around his mind.
