"You know you look like a rat?" He turned to her, seemingly surprised she was speaking to him. "Finally accepted that you would have done the same thing as me?" She scoffed and turned to face ahead, "Get off your high horse Niragi, I'm just seeing if a glimpse of my friend is still in that burnt up skin." "Did you even know me well enough to know what I was really like?" She stopped at his answer, stunned. Did she actually know anyone here truly? She hardly knew anything about her friends, even the basic things like favourite colours or comfort movies. "No. I guess I didn't." The man nodded and kept walking.
"How did you survive?" "I just did." "Right." She held herself back from asking about Aguni, or even Last Boss not really wanting to know the answer. They had reached an opening, surrounded by the storage crates with a large metal beam with a ball on top in the middle. "What is this place?" A large screen lit up with the words 'The Sology' in front of them. "This is it?" She spoke too soon as another announcement was heard 'The king of clubs team has arrived.' people started to walk out from different entrances around them. Counting them she saw six, one for each of them.
"Welcome to our game arena." Akira whistled as she looked at the man walking towards them, greeting them. "I'm the King of Clubs. Kyuma." "Nice to meet ya." Akira spoke stepping forward to shake his hand. "Nice. Forward I like it." He gave her an approving smile before looking past her, at her team mates. Akira stepped away as he began to speak again. "Ok, I'll introduce the other members. Starting over there, that's Shitara." She looked to see a kind of raggedy man raise his fist to the sky, looking at them.
"Uta." Akira looked to the second member and gasped. "Holy fuck, you're beautiful." The woman smiled at her before nodding at the rest of them. "Maki." Another man crossed his arms in a bored manner, rolling his head back. "Goken." A man looked at Kyuma in a way that seemed disapproving or disgusted. "And Mako." The last man waved, smiling at them causing Akira to grin and wave back. "Nice to meet you." Kyuma focused back on her friends who were shocked to say the least. She giggled at their confused faces.
"Why are you guys so quiet?" Kyuma turned to Shitari in confusion, not seeing a reason for their silence. "You're freaking them out." Uta responded quickly, "Put some pants on, would you?" She noticed how they avoided looking at him too long.
"What? Why! Nudists have been around for centuries. It's a perfectly legit lifestyle." He through his arms out, Akira walked backwards until she was standing beside Uta. "Did he practice this?" She nodded smiling, "We all know it off by heart." She nodded and turned back to the naked man. "Wearing clothes is a social construct but there's no biological need for them. Living life in our natural state is human's true form." He turned to look around at his surroundings.
"What is this dudes problem?" Akira laughed as Tatta watched him, his innocent eyes the size of plates. "This guys lost his marbles." Niragi watched him in admiration. "Who the heck are you people?"
"Who are we? We are the citizens of this country." Arisu looked at him confused, "The citizens?" "That's right. The citizens." The citizens of a country have a permanent stay and belong to that country. Have they really lived here without Visa's forever?
"What?" Kuina spoke in confusion. "It really speaks for itself." Kyuma pointed out, eager to get on with the game. "Why would you chose to live here?" "It seemed fun." He opened his mouth to speak but was cut off, "What did you guys do before you got here?" Niragi called from the back, Kyuma sighed. "We were a band, now you guys only get one more question, alright?" Arisu nodded ready to question everything, but Akira was too intrigued by his last answer.
"Were you good?" "Akira!" Arisu frowned at her, since she wasted their last question. She held her hands up, looking at the woman beside her watched in amusement. "Yes we were good." Kyuma grinned at her. "Okay, I'll be quiet now." She zipped up her lips and mimed throwing away a key, getting a quick laugh out of Mako.
"Well, let's begin."
