Parents Day. The one day a year all the parents come to the school and spend the whole afternoon with their kids. The kids put on a show as a welcome to all the parents who gather on this day. Which is every last one of them. And not just parents too, but grandparents as well. Basically, it's just one giant reunion with everyone invited. This must be all those 6,000 people coming back to see each other.

Ben invited Mal and the gang two days ago, after their disaster of a Parents Day. Due to the long distance, and the fact their parents are forbidden to come here, Ben had set up a facetime for the kids and their parents. That was a complete disaster, and I know because I was there. It was painful to watch happen.

FG had set the computer up so the kids could gather around it. The minute the screen came on, we all had an up close and personal look of Maleficent's face. Didn't help that they didn't have the sound on so we couldn't hear anything they had said. Eventually, Evil Queen managed to figure out the problem, then we could hear them all talking at once. Cruella seen Carlos holding Dude and nearly lost it. She even threatened to turn him into earmuffs. Making me proud, Carlos stood up to the woman telling her to back off of his newfound friend.

Evie got the better reaction out of them all, although her mother did go on and on about gaining the attention of a prince, then talked about how her clothes looked out of place. It was rather bazar. Evie just smiled and took the comments like they didn't bother her, but I know better.

Jay, all he got was questions about lamps and complaints about how empty his store is. Apparently, all Jay is good for is stealing things to keep the store running. I had to have counted the word lamp at least 28 times before Maleficent stole the show.

Poor Mal. Maleficent didn't even look at her first. She immediately started to tease and mock FG before demanding to know who I was. After the strangest interrogation of the century, Maleficent finally looked at her only daughter. She didn't even ask how Mal was doing, or if she was settling in well. She mentioned the wand, nearly giving her own plan away in the process, and crushing her daughter's spirit. In the end, the parents bullied their children, then started arguing amongst themselves. FG just shut the computer down after that.

I asked them to come to Parents Day yesterday, only to be told Ben beat me to it. That love spell really is something. After getting dressed in a yellow tank top and a pair of jean shorts with red roses on the pockets, I do my makeup and throw my hair up into a high ponytail.

I run off to outside to find my brother. I'm supposed to start the show with him which is unfortunately a stupid song. I still can't believe mom is forcing me to do this. Kids are scattered throughout the courtyard where the whole event is to take place. I find my brother talking to some of the other kids that are going to be in the show. Might as well just get it over with. I grab one of the baby-blue laced napkins and stand next to Ben just as the doors open, letting everyone in.

"Ma Chere Mademoiselle, it is with the deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you tonight. And now, we invite you to relax. Let us pull us a chair as the dining room proudly presents: your dinner! Be our guest! Be our guest! Put our service to the test. Tie your napkin around your neck, Cherie. We will provide the rest! Soup du jour? Hot hors d'oeuvres? Why we only live to serve! Try the grey stuff, it's delicious. Don't believe us? Ask the dishes. We can sing, sing, sing. We can dance, dance, dance. After all, this is France. And a dinner here is never second best. C'mon! Go on, unfold your menu. Go on, take a glance. Be our guest! Be our guest! Be our guest! Be our guest, guest, guest. We tell jokes, I do tricks with my fellow candlesticks. And it's all in perfect taste, that you can bet. Come on and lift your glass, you've won your own free pass. Be our guest! If you're stressed, it's fine dining we suggest. Be our guest! Be our guest! Be our guest!"
