Chapter 13: Knight Tango

Beast Castle

Mal runs through the halls of the castle, calling out for Ben in hopes of finding him. Carlos and Evie desperately try to get a hold of either Jane or Doug, but they're not answering their phones either. Evie even tries the phone at her own mini castle, but Dizzy doesn't pick the phone up either. This causes a serious panic to flow through the group, and it only gets worse when they see several long claw marks tearing along the wallpaper.

Freaking out, Mal leads the gang into a room full of suits of armor as she tries to calm herself down. She never thought Rose would let Audrey hurt Ben, and the fact that Rose didn't stop her makes Mal scared. She's worried that not even Harry will be able to break Rose free of the scepter's spell.

Noticing that Mal has stopped, Uma shoves her and gets in her face. They start to argue again over who is more important in the order of stopping, Rose or Audrey. Uma says that they can find Ben after Rose is handled because Rose would probably know where her brother is, but Mal is still convinced that she must find Ben first then go after Audrey. That ending the scepter will fix everything.

As the girls argue again, Harry walks around the room and looks at the suits of armor. When he thought about seeing Rose's castle, this isn't exactly how he planned it'd go. When he'd imagined seeing Auradon and this part of Rose's life, he imagined Rose being right next to him.

Suddenly, one of the suits of armor he'd been looking at moves. He tenses up, tightening his grip on his hook as the armor jerks around with pink and green mist flowing out of its helmet. Without taking his eyes off the armor, he slightly turns his head to the arguing girls.

"Girls, I think we're being challenged." Harry comments in a teasing voice as he grins maddeningly at the armor. Uma just raises her hand and brushes him off, which has Harry's mood darkening as he sneers at her and the armor. "Girls!! We have a bit of a problem here!"

"Do you like a prince, Mal? Well, how about a knight in shining armor? Or knights?" Audrey's voice says through the armor, causing the group to flinch as they back up. They all look around the room as all the suits of armor come to life, which is Audrey's plan as she cackles evilly. She's giving Rose time to get to the castle.

(All is all three, Uma is bold, Mal is underlined, Evie is bold underlined)

"Watch your back, watch your back.
Watch your back, watch your back.
We can counter their attacks.
Hit them til their armor cracks."

The group runs for the door as Harry parry's a knight's sword with his hook and Uma jumps up onto the center platform in the large room.

"This could get a little sticky.
How to win this battle could be tricky."

Uma snaps her fingers, and Gil quickly hands out swords as Harry grabs one from the wall. Everyone chooses a knight to square off against.

"But I know the best way.
Fall back and let me lead.
You hold the line, and we'll bring them to their knees."

Mal walks up onto the platform next to Uma, taking a sword from Jay as she does. The rest of the group fan out around them, Harry taunting and teasing the knights.

"Swords in the air if you're with me.
They got us outnumbered one to fifty.
The victory is ours because I've got a strategy.
You take the left, and the rest of you can follow me."

Uma spins Mal around, shoving her shoulder and getting in her face as she scoffs at her.

"This is my crew!"

"Look, this is my squad!"

"This is my turf!"

"Oh my gosh!"
