"Ugh! Seriously, Uma! I love you Cap, but this is pushing it!" I shout at her as I stumble around the side of the swaying ship, flinging water off of my arms as I try to stay on the ship itself. However, anything I say is drowned out by everyone screaming at Uma. Uma laughs as she looks down at Mal. "Ok, girls! I know you hate each other but isn't this going a tad too far!" Uma rolls her eyes and grins at me before turning back to Mal.
"True Love's Kiss won't defeat this!" Uma says, her voice being loud enough at shake the yacht a bit. Her tentacles are moving around in the water as she laughs. "The world will know my name!" Uma swipes a tentacle at everyone on the yacht, and I stumble run up the stairs, to the very top of the yacht to try to stay out of the way. Did she forget that I'm down here?
She does it again, and everyone falls back. Mal storms forward and starts to pace, her whole body shaking. Please, don't tell me she's going to turn into a dragon. We don't really need a jealous villain girl showdown. Mal's eyes glow a bright green and she looks at Ben when she stands up. The rage on her face is extreme. She gasps as purple smoke swirls around her, starting at her feet. A medium sized purple dragon takes her place, and she roars before flying up into the air.
"Well, that's just great!" I shout as I take a drink from a try that had been left at the top of the stairs when the servants ran inside the yacht. I sit down on the stairs and watch as Mal breaths fire down on Uma, who dodges. Uma yells out and swipes at the dragon with one of her tentacles. Such drama queens, I swear.
Mal flies down and throws a large fireball at Uma, who dives below water to avoid it. When she comes crashing back up, another wave hits the yacht, knocking everyone over. This is why I'm sitting and away from the edge. My drunk ass does not want to die by drowning in the ocean because I'm too drunk to swim.
Ben roars out and throws his crown to Carlos before diving into the water himself. Oh, for the love of kings and queens. Carlos and Jay rush to the edge, screaming for Ben and I shake my head. My brother is going to get himself killed. He has no magic, no special ability, and yet he's throwing himself between two of the most powerful villain kids. Oh, well.
"Mal! Uma! Stop! Back down!" Ben shouts from his little spot in the water. Does he really think words are going to solve this? I finish my drink before wobbling down the stairs and back over to the railing as I watch the showdown between all three of them.
"What are you going to do, Ben? Splash me?" Uma asks as she taps the water causing small waves and I snort a laugh. She's got a valid point. There isn't anything he can do to her right now. Mal growls at her, and I roll my eyes. Jeez, it's just a joke princess.
"That's enough! This has got to stop! The fighting will get us nowhere! No one wins this way!" Ben shouts and I nod my head. He has a valid point as well. The fighting won't get them anywhere. Only to more problems. "We have to listen and respect each other! I know it won't be easy, but let's be brave enough to try! Uma, I know you want what's best for the Isle! Help me make a difference!" He holds out his hand, and I nearly lose it. She has tentacles that will drown him, and he wants to shake one.
Uma looks at me as if I hold all the answers in the world, but I shrug my shoulders. This is up to her. I don't exactly have a good opinion when it comes to these people keeping their word, so I'm leaving it up to her. She can choose to trust them or not. I'll support her either way. Uma slowly reaches a tentacle out to Ben, Mal growling at her in warning, which makes me glare at her. Calm your damn dragon-self down! Uma drops Ben's ring into his hand before smiling to me sadly. She dives below the water, swimming away. She chose not to trust them, and I nod my head. That's perfectly fine. I don't blame her for not trusting them either.
Ben swims over to the ladder that Jay and Carlos drop down for him. Dad comes over with a towel and helps Ben up onto the deck. I stumble my way over and slap him on the back of the shoulder.
"You, my brother, have a serious death wish. I mean, I'm proud as hell, but you really like to just risk your life everywhere you go, huh?" Ben laughs and shakes his head at me, water drops raining down on me from his hair. "Ah! Stop it, or I'm killing you myself." I say as I try to block the water with my hands, and we all look up at Mal as she lands in front of the glass window. Her dress matches the one in the window and I smile a little. Now that is a dress that screams her.
Ben puts his crown back on his head as Evie runs up to Mal and taps part of Mal's dress that's still smoking. They both smile before walking down the stairs. Ben and Mal meet in the middle of the deck and bow to each other. Finally! This is the Mal I know. This is the real her. Ben smile before pulling her close and kissing her, making everyone laugh.
I smile sadly and look out at the Isle as I think about my boyfriend. I wonder what Harry is doing right now. Is he worried about me? Is he thinking of me? I play with my necklace and walk off the yacht. Happy ending achieved. I'll leave them to their party. Not like I'm really wanted or needed there anyway.
I stroll through the Enchanted Forest as I head back to the school. What do I do now? I highly doubt that Ben is going to take me back in the morning, and I highly doubt I'll be allowed to even go. I'm surprised I made it this far without guards dragging me back. I whistle a tune as I sway down the path in the moonlight. It takes me a minute, but I realize that I'm whistling that little tune Harry does. Grinning, I take off running down the path.
"Yo-ho! A pirate's life for me!" I sing loudly as I make it to the school's front courtyard. I race across it, and to the edge where the bridge would form. Staring across the water, I watch as the Isle is buzzing with lights, and I vaguely see a figure pacing back and forth along the edge. Red coat swaying with each step, fingers diving through his hair. I know without a doubt that it's my Pirate Boy. Just seeing him, barely, but still seeing him, I can't help the fresh tears that fall down my face. My chest blooms with happiness and I smile wide before sucking in a deep breath.
"HOOK!" I scream at the top of my lungs, and the figure looks up, stopping in place. Harry waves his arms at me, and I wave mine back. I sob out loudly as a cry breaks out from my chest. So close, yet so far away.
"BEASTY!" I just barely hear as he shouts, and I nearly collapse to the ground. It's my Harry alright. I sob as I watch him stand on the other side of the water, and I want nothing more than to run to him. I'm damn near ready to start swimming, if only the barrier wouldn't keep me out.
In that moment, I make a vow to myself that I will do everything I can to get back to him. I don't care if I have to destroy Auradon to do it. I will do whatever it takes to get to my Harry. I'll help Ben finish what he started, even if I have to tie him to his chair and force him to. I'll make nice with everyone if that's what it takes. I'll even force myself to pretend to be a princess if I have to. Whatever it takes, I will see my pirate again, I we will get to sail the seas like we promised each other.
What? You didn't think this was the end of the story, did you?
