Roses and Hooks /// Harry Hook

Introduction

Hello readers!

Welcome to my story. I'm really excited that you decided to read this book. Now, I know that there are a lot of fanfictions about the Descendants movies and the multitude of characters. I promise I have probably read nearly all of them, like I bet several of you have. I loved every different take, turn, and OC twist that everyone has put in, but I decided to do something different. I promise, no one has done what I did, and if they did, tell me so I can go read the book to see the persons take on it too.

Now, to clear several things up beforehand because I know how wild a story can get.

First, this is my story. If you don't like it, don't read it. I know some books aren't for everyone. I've been there and not gotten into a story. It's ok. I don't mind. Just don't be rude about it.

Second, everyone has their own opinion. That is their right. Don't be mean to each other. I really don't want fighting in my comment section people. If you have a different opinion, that's fine, but please don't turn it into a big deal.

Third, because I know a few of you will be getting mixed signals with this. This is a Harry Hook and OC book. My character is going to be in a romance with our favorite hook swinging pirate. Any other people my character interacts with is strictly friends only. She won't be catching feelings for anyone, but her Harry.

Next is how I write my stories. Something you should know about me, it that I'm an English major, even if it sometimes isn't my strongest subject. I also like to put details and give plenty of insight into my characters head, so my chapters may be long ones. I will try not to make them too long, but I can't exactly cut my scenes in half without reason. If you don't like a lot of detail, long chapters, and big paragraphs, then this isn't the story for you.

Another one is people complaining that there isn't any of this or that. Again, go back to the top. This is my story. I don't have to put things in my story that I don't feel is the right direction. That being said, even though this is about the Descendants, which is a kids themed story, there will be mature content. There isn't hardly any in the first book, but it will start to pick up in the second. The first book, my OC is still in her own world, but things happen early on in the second book that really start to make her temper flare. That is where she's going to start breaking out of that proper princess shell and turn into a full on badass. Now, I won't be making it excessive. I go with what I feel is flowing naturally, so there may be parts more intense than others.

SMUTT!! This is a big one that I see a lot in the comments of other books, so I really want to clarify this. I MAY OR MAY NOT PUT IT IN MY BOOK! If it feels like a natural thing, then yes it may be in the story, but I will not force it just because you want it. If you are looking for that, then might I suggest going to the oneshots, or perhaps a book that tells specifically that it will be in there. It is not my problem if all of you people are so thirsty. Drink some water or something.

That is all I can think of at the moment. If I come up with anymore, I will add them. Any questions, I will answer to the best of my ability.
