On The Isle

Across the water, on the island that constantly has dark clouds hanging over it and a gold barrier around it, is a group of friends. Though, they would never admit to being friends due to the fact that that would get them killed in their world since anything good is crushed immediately. Good does not survive here. Only darkness, madness, and everything evil.

The leader of the group is a young girl named Mal, who is the daughter of the most feared Villain of all time, Maleficent. She vows to do anything to make her mother proud and to prove once and for all that she is just as evil as her, too. However, deep down, buried below the hard exterior of her evil persona, is a girl with an incredibly good heart. One so good that Mal fears she will never achieve being evil and making her mother proud.

Mal's best friend is another young girl named Evie, who is known for being the most beautiful girl on the Isle, but don't tell her mother that. Evie is the daughter of the Evil Queen, and even though she's her mother, the Queen would kill her own daughter if she heard the rumor on the Isle. This makes Evie do everything in her power to make sure that not only is she perfect in every way possible to make her mother happy, but she also makes sure that her mother is just as perfect. No need to be killed just for being pretty.

The next person in this small little group is a boy named Jay, who is the son of the infamous Jafar. Jay fears his father, but he will never admit that aloud. Show any weakness, and you'll get destroyed. Jafar is not the cruelest man on the Isle, but he's close. Not only is Jay forced to steal anything he can get his hands on to make sure his father's shop is constantly stocked, but he also has to steal every lamp he can find and pray that it's the right one. Jay has been told straight to his face that unless he has the lamp, he will never become something. Jafar has actually went as far as kicking Jay out of their home for not bringing a lamp home, and being alone on the Isle at night is much worse than in the day. Jay has the scars to prove it.

The last person in this group is a smaller boy named Carlos, who is the son of Cruella De Vil. Carlos has it the worst out of them all seeing as he doesn't know how to hide his feelings in a lock box like his friends. He tries to keep his emotions at bay, he really does. However, when your mother chases you around the house with her many stuffed dogs as she barks and laughs, one tends to let their emotions run wild. Cruella knows exactly what makes her son afraid, and she uses that to her advantage. Do what I say, or I'll feed you to a pack of vicious, bloodthirsty dogs.

Currently, it's early in the morning so the group is running around and doing their parents bidding before they actually get to hang out like they do every day. Mal is the first one to finish her mother's errands, so she goes to the meeting spot in her territory. To pass the time, she spray paints her family's logo in a large decal on one of the walls since art is her strongest subject. She hums a small tune as she works on her masterpiece, which soon turns into a full out song.

(Bold is Mal, Italics is Evie, Underlined is Jay, Bold Italics is Carlos, Bold Underlined is Mal and Evie, all three are the whole group)

"They say I'm trouble. They say I'm bad. They say I'm evil, and that makes me glad." Mal sings as she turns around and hops off the box that she had stood on to reach the higher part of her artwork. She shoulder bashes into someone, making them fall to the ground with a yelp as she starts to storm off to find her friends.

"A dirty no-good down to the bone. Your worst nightmare can't take me home." Jay joins in as he climbs his way down the side of a building to join Mal now that he's finished with his father's errands. He smirks at the girl before taking off to find more things to steal for his father.

"So, I got some mischief in my blood. Can you blame me? I never got no love." Evie sings as she jumps down onto the end of a table and walks her way down it like she's on a runway, causing everyone to glare at her as they have to quickly move their food or risk it being stepped on. Evie makes it to the end of the table and jumps down, then slowly moves through the bars on the side railing as she smiles flirtatiously at a boy next to her. The boy is mesmerized by her beauty, but before he can do anything, Evie takes off through the bars the rest of the way to join up with Mal.
