Chapter 15: Beast Showdown

Girls (After Harry went after Rose)

Uma, Mal, Evie, and Celia are walking through the castle and back to Auradon Prep. Since the school years started, that means Audrey would be back in the school dorms. Even though Uma had suggested going to the school first, Mal takes the credit for think of it now. She claims this is because if they hadn't of went to the castle, they wouldn't have found Rose.

Uma and Celia stayed in Audrey's dorm room while Mal and Evie left to go check out the rest of the school. Celia starts to dig through all of the shiny jewelry that Audrey owns, putting on necklaces, rings, and bracelets.

Uma doesn't care for all of Audrey's jewelry or pastel leather clothing. She's looking for something that would actually help them find the girl so they can defeat her. That's when Uma stumbles upon Audrey's diary, which had been on the floor under the bed.

Jumping onto the very pink bed, Uma starts to flip through the pages of the diary. She whistles at how angry the writing gets over the several dates throughout the time that Mal had been going to Auradon Prep. Audrey had written about everything Mal had done from stealing Ben to stealing the crown. Audrey even writes down that her own family has threatened to disown her if she didn't fix what she had lost.

"She's not in the school." Mal says as her and Evie walk back into the room. Evie rushes over to Celia, quickly stopping the girl from taking anything because they're trying to be good guys now instead of villains.

"How can anyone be unhappy with a bed this soft?" Uma asks as she continues to read through the diary, and Mal snaps at everyone to focus. That they need to find Audrey and take her down while Harry has Rose distracted. "Okay, well, I found her diary."

"Don't really see how reading that will help us find her." Mal snaps as she tries to think of anywhere else Audrey could be. However, she doesn't really know Audrey that well, so she can't really think of anything.

"Well, she writes everything about you and all the shit that you did to her." Uma snaps back at Mal, the two girls glaring at each other. "She does mention the Fairy's Cottage a lot in here as well. Figured we could look there next."

"I mean, it is the place where her mother hid from your mother." Celia comments, and Mal rolls her eyes.

"Yes, the irony is not lost on me." Mal says before chewing on her lip again. "Well, let's head over to Evie's place to meet up with the boys. When the spell breaks, that's probably where Rose will take Harry anyway."

Boys (After Harry went after Rose)

Carlos, Jay, Gil, and Dude are walking through the woods outside of the castle as they look for Ben. Mal and Uma had suggested that the girls go after Audrey while the boys handle King Ben. The boys agreed because they're always agreeing to whatever hair-brained scheme the girls come up with.

"Ben!!" Carlos yells as he looks around in hopes of seeing the king. Gil is still gushing about how everything in Auradon is so different from everything on the Isle. From the green leaves on the trees to the healthy-looking dirt in the ground. He's fallen in love with the berries on the bushes, and when Gil or Carlos isn't looking, Jay also swipes some from the bushes.

"So, why did you take Rose from us?" Gil asks the two boys, and Carlos sighs while Jay frowns. Gil couldn't understand why they didn't want Rose to be happy. He didn't understand why they couldn't let her be happy with Harry, who has done nothing but love her from the very start.

"Gil, I had no idea. Evie and I didn't know Mal and Jay were taking Rose until it was too late." Carlos explains to the kind boy. Gil is the kindest villain kid around, and that's why everyone loves him so much. Jay scowls at his best friend.
