"Stalker, get out of there! They breached our defenses and headed your way...They know where you are! I got the humvee out back waiting for you. There's no time to take anything with you."
The smell of gasoline filled your airways, the scent making you want to leave already but you couldn't just leave all this evidence behind for them to find. You piled all of the paperwork into the middle of the room and dumped the rest of the gasoline onto it, rushing to the back door. You opened your lighter and tossed the little flame into the room, closing the door when it went up in flames.
"Copy, heading out now."
You ran down the hallway to the back exit, the faint sound of yelling and boots hitting the floor making your legs carry you faster. Such a shame that this base was no longer safe, you were growing to love that office. You opened the exit and dragged the large trashcan in front of the door. It would give you a little more time to make the dash to the humvee in the distance that waited for you.
"She went out the back!"
"If she's too far shoot."
You could hear the voices from behind the door, sprinting with everything you had left to the car. You heard the door open but no shots were fired, you didn't dare look back. It was too much of a risk to even stop moving.
You yanked the passenger door open and got inside, your hands covering your face once you sat down.
"That was too close, Let's go, Kai."
You muttered, slouching in your chair a bit, your heart was beating out of your chest.
"Yeah, I know."
His words were quick and a bit panicked. You looked over at him and frowned, reaching your hand to his cheek.
"Are you okay?"
You noticed the blade at his throat and then a hand reaching out from behind your seat, grabbing your hair, and holding your head down onto the middle console. You knew it was too good to be true, that escape was too easy. You struggled against their grip, trying to get out of his grip.
"Don't struggle lass, get into the back of the car."
Your door opened and you were quickly cuffed and yanked out of the car. You muttered curses under your breath as the man behind you put you in the back of the humvee. Kai being next to join you, you gave him a warm smile, scooting over to him and looking at his neck, there wasn't any serious injury but there was still a cut.
Two men got into the front seat, one wearing a balaclava and the other having a mohawk. You've never seen a soldier with a fucking mohawk, it was so fucking hilarious.
"Checking that off my list."
You whispered to Kai and motioned towards the man in the front passenger seat. He seemed to get your message and smiled, a slight laugh coming from him.

The car ride was a long and uncomfortable one. You didn't know how much longer you had in this car and in those cuffs. God, it was such a bad time to need to take a piss but you couldn't really control it. It had been about 2 hours since you were put in the back of the car and you were in the middle of nowhere.
"Um, can we stop? I really need to use the restroom."
You leaned forward, trying to get their attention. The driver sighed and made a hard break.
"Soap. Go deal with it."

"Okay! Calm down!"
You snapped, falling on your ass next to Kai. You rubbed your wrists trying to soothe your sore skin. The lock of the door made you sort of happy that you could finally talk to Kai in peace.
"So, how was your trip?"
"Don't start this shit right now, I'm not in the mood for your shit."
You crossed your arms and laid down, your head in his lap.
"Well, we better make the best of each other company before they move us to different cells."
"Can't wait."
He muttered and flicked your forehead.

This was going to be really boring but you knew that would be the least of your worries soon. You both were prisoners now so this would probably be the most peaceful day for quite a while.
