Chapter 33

After breakfast, they immediately prepared themselves for their plan for the day—to tour around Florence.

Starting from the magnificent view of the Ponte Vecchio. From the rooftop of the palace they could freely see the magestic, gorgeous bridges of Ponte Vecchio that cross the Arno river, and the rising sun that added to the beauty of it.

After getting mesmerized by the beauty of Ponte Vecchio, they went right through their specific rides for the day.

Their first stop was Florence Cathedral, it was one of the most must see attractions in Florence. With it's gigantic structure standing in 114m tall that took more than a century to build, about 140 years.

Next was the Ponte Vecchio. Looking over the beauty of the gorgeous bridges and getting yourself to walk into one of the bridge are two different things. To walk over the bridge and feel the breeze of the air with the coldness of the water from the river is another thing to experience. After Ponte Vecchio was the Palazzo Vecchio, it is a distinct architectural structure since it was built like a fortress. Next to it was Bargello Museum, one of the most important museum in Florence. It was huge and Krystal was in awe seeing it up close. Seeing the Bargello Museum from above, it was already big and beautiful, but seeing it this close was better.

"Wanna get inside baby?" tanong ni Uno kay Krystal nang mapansing nakatitig lang ito sa museum. But the latter just shook her head.

"Nahh, marami pa tayong pupuntahan kaya hindi na siguro" nakangiting tugon ng dalaga.

Nagpatuloy sila sa paglilibot sa Florence. They went to see the Basilica of Santa Croce, which leave Krystal in awe due to it's grandeur, plus it massive size. Sumilip naman sila saglit sa Uffizi Gallery at nalula na naman sa mga artworks na nakikita ng mga mata niya. Their next stop was Palazzo Pitti, a rennaisance palace with all it's former glory. Then the statue of David, Boboli Gardens, Giardino Bardini-a rennaisance garden which offered them peace and calm surrounding. They also never missed walking to the Piazzale Michelangelo and have a sight over the beautiful city of Florence.

Pagkatapos ay nagtungo naman sila sa countryside. Mainly because Uno wanted his lady to rest from the heat of the sun and the city, and roaming around Florence is a bad idea.

"Saan tayo pupunta?" nagtatakang tanong ni Krystal nang mapansing tila papalabas sila ng siyudad.

"To the countryside, mas masarap iyon sa mata" sagot naman ni Uno na ikinatuwa naman ng dalaga.

A countryside was indeed a good idea. Mas masarap sa mata ang luntiang paligid, ang mga bulaklak na kusang tumutubo doon, at ang mga puno. Damn I missed the green hills of Aureus Hill. Bulong niya sa sarili.

Sa 'di kalayuan ay namataan nila ang pamilyar na sasakyang nakahinto, at ang pamilyar na pigura ng mga tao. As they get closer, they realized it was Dos, together with Haze and Hezekiah. Huminto naman sila sa tapat ng mga ito, pagkatapos ay bumaba saglit.

"Hey Dos" bati ni Uno sa kapatid na napalingon din nang makita sila.

"Kuya, akala ko matatagalan kayo sa paglilibot sa Florence" saad ni Dos pagkatapos ay ibinalik ang tingin sa mag-ina niyang nag-e-enjoy sa paglanghap ng sariwang bulaklak sa paligid. Minsan pa ay namimitas ang bata at saka ilalagay sa buhok niya, kung hindi ay iipitin sa may tenga. Ganoon din ang ginawa ni Hezekiah sa buhok ng ina, nilagyan niya ng mga bulaklak at tuwang-tuwa nang makitang bumagay ang magandang bulaklak sa magandang mukha ng ina niya.

"Mommy, pretty na po ba ako? Pretty mo po kasi lalo na with flowers" nakangiting saad ng bata na tinanguan naman ng ina. Pagkatapos marinig ang sagot ng ina ay bumaling ito sa ama.
