Percy's POV

Annabeth has asked me to meet her by her mother's statue. When she finally arrived, we both echoed each other, saying "you're late" a blinding flash ensued. Annabeth kneeled

"Mother"

"Annabeth, my daughter. Son of the sea. I know what you need to do to defeat our enemy, I will try to send the Daughter of the sea to help you, my smoky friend will report your progress to me," She said as she flicked her hand.

The world went black.

I felt strange, like how I felt after Circe turned me into a guinea pig. F***! did Athena turn me into an animal? I tried to stand up, but I already was. I was way too close to the ground. I spotted a puddle and did a weird waddle run over. I was a lizard. I try to throw up my hands in frustration and throw up... wings? A closer look in the puddle reveals I am a dragon. Not like Frank, I was smaller, more cat-like. A least my eyes were the same. I turn around, catch a glimpse of my tail, and spot another dragon, this one with a yellow head and a grey body

"Annabeth?" I growl softly. They raise their head

"Percy?" She snarls back

"Annabeth, I think your mom turned us into dragons." I yip. Annabeth stands up

"Dragons?" She tumbles around on her four feet. I catch her.

"Dragons." I spot another dragon lying on the ground a few feet away. Ariana. Athena said she would try and send Ariana. I rush over.

"Is that Ariana?" Annabeth chirps.

"As far as I know. She needs help" I try and wake her, but my snout gets smeared with blood as night falls and the world is plunged into darkness. "Do you think Zeus will notice if I fly?"

"I have no idea. I'll try since I'm allowed to travel through his domain" Annabeth tries to take off, and after a few failures, starts yelling/roaring for help.

Hiccup's POV

We had started another search for new dragons. When it got dark, we planned to head back to Berk, but a scathing call from an upcoming island beckoned otherwise. Toothless's ears pricked up, and all the dragons started roaring back, then picked up speed.

"I think that was a call for help!" Snotlout tries to yell over the growing wind.

"Well DUH!" Astrid yells. we land on a glittering beach and hear the cries again, emanating from a flying form in the middle of the island. Toothless takes off again and cries out to them, and they share a nod and we descend. A black dragon like Toothless is crouched over something else, snarling. the first one cooed at them and rubbed them, and they lowered their wingspan. everyone gasps. In the fading light, I can see a wounded dragon, bleeding heavily. Fishlegs and I take a small step forward, and the snarling one glares at us but does not advance. Hookfang ignites
