Percy and Ariana Jackson

Part 26, Solangelo in dragon form?

Nico's POV

Will and I had fallen asleep underneath a tree at the edge of the woods. I had my back slumped, and Will was lying on his back a few feet away from me, reading. 

We both woke up on a shore in weird draconic forms, Will a bright yellow-orange and me black with red highlights. It was cool until a troupe of hunters shot us and chained us in the bottom of their boat. We had been set free by two dragons who acted and looked a lot like Ariana and Percy, and we joined a group of other dragons, who held humans on their backs

"Who are you?" I chirped

"I am Glede. the three who rescued you call themselves "Percy" and "Annabeth" I am yet to learn the third name in their trio, the pretty purple one" The pitch-black dragon responded. Percy had rescued me. Again. he would not let me live this one down. 

"Cheer up! at least we don't have to clean cabins!" Will roared. he was swooping happily around with his yellow sunshine form. 

"Lucky you! I'm not allowed to be this high up!" I screech back. Glede gives me a questioning look, but we approach a cave before I can answer, and both Will and I fail our landing. Percy, Annabeth, the purple one, and Glede let out low humming sounds that sound like laughter as we picked ourselves up 

"Percy?" Will hums

"Will?" Percy yips back

"Yeah, It's me. Nico too" Will snarls. I throw up a wing in hope to wave. I growl in frustration then find a whole lot of skeletons in the ground around me, ready to be summoned. I roared, and a small skeleton of a tiny lizard pulled itself from the ground, then stopped at my feet. the humans around us shivered and stared.

"Did that dragon just raise the dead?" one whimpered. I stopped paying attention to the lizard and it crumbled back into the ground.

"Yep. That dragon can raise the dead" A blond girl stuck her hand on her hip. "And I'm thinking we should call their sub-species "Death Furies." sound good?" 

"Good. I think we should call Gold and the other yellow one "Sun Furies" because they're yellow." A black-haired kid who rode a big red dragon said

"Seashell and Seastorm have explained themselves. Sea Furies." A brown-haired kid spoke up. I assumed Seashell was the purple one. she let out a small breath of mist at the riders, who tried to wave it away without any success. "I'm guessing that is how they stayed undetected during the attack"

"That. Is. So. Cool" A blond boy perked up. "She can spit mist and water. I wonder if she can do plasma too" Annabeth turned her head over to Seashell and cooed, so Seashell shot a blast of plasma right at their feet. "So she can do all three" then Percy did the same, spitting mist then plasma.

"Seashell and Seastorm are super powerful." Another blond girl said, swinging off her two-headed dragon "And super cool" A blond boy swung off the other head. Seashell stole the girl's helmet, then ran to the doors and dangled it over the sea. The girl tried with no avail to get her helmet back until Seashell returned it and bounded back over to Percy.

"Nico, Have you met Ariana?" He chirped at me

"Your twin? Yeah." I chirped back

"Hey, Nico." Ariana flicked her head. Glede perked up when he heard her name. he came over

"Seashell, I have not learned your name" His tail flicked with anticipation

"Well Glede, My name is Ariana" She used her tail to bump his snout "And I will call you Toothless because I like it better than "Glede" I hope you use Seashell when regarding me."

"Why do you like the name the humans gave you?" He asked

"I will show you." Ariana and Toothless ran outward to the exit, and just before they both fell, Ariana grabbed him and flew outward, into the sea. Hiccup panicked because apparently, Toothless can't fly on his own.

Ariana/Seashell's POV

 Toothless freaked out when I pulled him into the sea. I was just barely able to touch the edges of my wings together to make him a bubble.

"See?" I smiled "Fine" I felt my wings fade away and fins replace them. I pulled the bubble further downward, toward the seabed.

"How?" Toothless screeches

"My abilities. Do you want to go back up?" I swim around the bubble

"Yes! I can't fly without Hiccup!" He screeches again

"I'm pretty sure I can lift you. Or I can get Hiccup and bring him to you. I'm going with the second option!" I burst out of the sea and fly back up to the cave, steal a screaming Hiccup, then dive back in and drop him with Toothless, who is completely dry. He immediately watches me with fascination as my wings fade away to fins again before I swim the bubble to the surface and the pair take off before me.

I land, And everyone stares at me. Dammit! How did my wings change to fins when I was flying? Oh, It's raining. Percy's wings turned to fins too. must be so humid in here that I changed without notice.

"I need to sketch this" He whispers. I walk to Percy and rub myself against him to see his fins. same color as his dorsal plates, a greenish blue. I watch as Fishlegs freaks out when Snotlout steals his pen thingy. I whap him over the head and he drops it

"Seashell is sassy!" He moans, rubbing the back of his head. Fishlegs starts drawing our fins, then adding our bodies and heads. he makes quick work of it. I curl up on the floor and close my eyes. using my power is exhausting. I shoot Snotlout with a dart made of water, and it knocks his helmet off and drenches his head. I settle gently and fall asleep.

Will's POV

I saw Seashell drift off to sleep, then turned to Toothless

"I heard you can't fly without your rider" I shook my head

"I'm missing half of my tail. Hiccup built me a replacement" He shows me his fake tail. I walk up to him and put a paw-talon thing on it, pulling off the replacement. "Why did you do that?" He asked

"I'm trying to help it heal" I snarl "This will hurt" I watch as a gentle glow lights up my talon and the scales on Toothless. He yips in pain as new bones start protruding from the place where the fake lines were, and cartilage starts forming between them. he keeps yipping and yelping, but by the time I finish, the half of his tail that is missing has come completely back. He runs over to Hiccup, and I follow much slower.

"What is it bud?" Hiccup says, then spots the tail replacement on the floor. Toothless pulls up his newly repaired tail. I shudder and whine. my own tail hurts, but it's not missing. Nico's black form comes up to me as Hiccup gasps at the job I did. "How did it come back?" Toothless uses his new tail to point at me, who, without Nico's support, I would have fallen over ages ago. I open my mouth and let out a small roar. I stumble back to a corner, where I fall asleep myself to the words of "How did that dragon do that?"
