Hazbin Lights (A Inanimate Insanity & Hazbin Hotel AU)

Arc 1 Chapter 1: Chasing Rainbows

Years ago, three friends decided to create something that would make the world more interesting to both them & everyone on Earth. That something was called "The Game." The Game consists of objects around the world competing against each other by playing different kinds of activities. If they win, they are sent to a peaceful island called Dream Island, & if they lose, they would simply just sit out in a room. However, The Game didn't stay that way for long.

One of the three friends, Steve Cobs, thought that the losers deserved a punishment if they lost, that punishment being death. Behind the backs of his friends, he would secretly murder the losers, one by one. But one day, as Four & X checked on the eliminated contestants, the room was filled with dead bodies & blood, much to their horror. To find out who the murderer was, they sent another eliminated contestant to the room & waited to see who would come in. They soon found out that their close friend was the one responsible for the murder once they spotted him enter the room with a knife & tried to do it again. But they stopped him before he could kill again.

As punishment, Four & X created a place for all the eliminated contestants called Inanimate Island, where Steve would live & rule as king of both the island & the eliminated contestants as Four & X would live & rule over Dream Island & the winners.

Both islands are complete opposites. The winners on Dream Island live peacefully without any drama or trouble. The same couldn't be said for the eliminated contestants, though. There's plenty of violence, cheating, & much more terrible laws getting broken every day on Inanimate Island.

Even though Dream Island was still peaceful & Cobs was out of their way, Four & X still held a huge grudge against him for his betrayal, so every year, they would lead an army to Inanimate Island & slaughter as many eliminated contestants as they could as revenge, & soon, their delight.

Later, Steve was tasked that in order to keep his throne, he must marry & have a family, or adopt someone. Marriage sounded like "Too much work" for him, so instead, he adopted a young island born as both his daughter & princess of the island. & that's where we meet our main hero.

In a large mansion, an object walks out on the balcony & leaned over on the rail. She was yellow, wearing a red suit & tie. She looked down at her city & sent a streak of lighting up in the sky, not looking up once. As the lightning streaks multiplied, the citizens left their homes to start their daily lives. One object picked up the dead bodies that were lying all over the city, another changed their sign, & one group of trio were outside of a club.

These three were known as The Thinkers: Silver Spoon, The Floor & Candle. Candle took a selfie with Floory & started texting on her phone with Silver watching as the three walked inside the building.

As the yellow object stared down at her citizens, tears rolled down from her eyes as she started to sing to herself.

"At the end of the rainbow, there's happiness. & to find it, how often I've tried. But my life is a race, just a wild goose chase, & my dreams have all been denied. Why have I always been a failure? What can the reason be? I wonder if the world's to blame, I wonder if it could be me. I'm always chasing rainbows, watching clouds drifting by. My schemes are just like all my dreams, ending the sky. Some fellows look & find the sunshine, I always look & find the rain. Some fellows make a winning sometime, I never even make a gain, believe me. I'm always chasing rainbows. Waiting to find a little bluebird, in vain."

After she finished her song, she looked over at the clock tower. Only 365 days until the exterminators come back to kill her citizens again. She leaned her head down & overflowed herself with tears & began to cry. How can Lightbulb help the many objects on her island if no one wants to listen to her?
