23: YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE

Phayu cracked his eyes open. 

The sun that was filtering in through the curtains was strong ....it must be later than the time he normally woke up.

Usually, as soon as he opened his eyes, his mind would start firing with all the things he had to get done that day.

Energy would fill him almost immediately needing to be released through an intense workout or run before he headed to the garage or to work.

But not today.

His mind was peaceful, his body relaxed, unwilling to hop out of bed.

A feeling infused him that was a bit unfamiliar.

He searched his mind for the word to name it....

Contentment. Was that it?

He felt the warm body snuggled against his back. Little soft breathy snores tickled the hair at the nape of his neck.

Rain. That was it. That was the word. 

The feeling of sheer happiness. His Rain.

His Rain was clinging to his back, like a little koala....The smile that started blossoming in his heart bloomed across his eyes and lips.

He had never before woken up to someone holding him. His little Rain was spooning him!

Rain had one leg tucked between his thighs the other pressing against the back of his leg. His groin cradled against his ass.

Rain's arm was draped over his waist... and...

...that hand was burrowed inside his boxers, holding him....possessive even in sleep....Phayu's smile ...and other things... grew bigger.

But Rain needs to rest, he'll let him sleep. He would be exhausted after their activities in the shower last night, or more aptly, early this morning. 

That was....wow! Rain was everything he could ever want in a lover - loving, open to trying new things, and sexy as hell. And the way Rain looked at him....no one had ever made him feel like that before -like he could do anything!

He wanted to do something special for Rain today...It was Sunday, so they could spend a leisurely day together before he had to take him back home.

Maybe I'll cook something he likes. 

They always went out or delivered in, except for some simple breakfasts. His mae had made sure both boys had cooking skills, so he was pretty comfortable in the kitchen.

The sound floated up to Rain at the top of the landing when he came out of the bedroom.

"Mmm Hmmm 🎶 Cha ta da 🎵 Ta da da dum 🎶 Da da 🎵 Ter ta mmmm"

Beautiful notes hummed in perfect pitch and resonance.
