Rain couldn't believe how quickly the past few months had flown. Monday was a big day, the first day that Storm Designs would open.

Phayu had been working towards this day for a long time, having dreamt of opening his own firm for a couple of years now. He had been working for P'Mhok for over 5 years, having joined when he graduated from university.

While he had learned so much, he was more than ready to take this next step and build something on his own.

Building was what he did best...whether it was bikes, cars, a house, or his life. He had architected this day for himself and was now ready to make it a reality.

So over the past few months, he had wrapped up all his projects, given notice, and set up the business and offices. Their families, friends, and potential clients had been invited to the Grand Opening in a couple of days. But tonight was just for them.

Rain had graduated University a few months ago and now worked at a large architectural firm. One day, he hoped to join Phayu and build the firm together, working side by side, every day.

But for now, he felt the need to gain work experience and independence first so that he could be a more productive and valuable partner at Storm Designs in a couple of years.

They had gone back and forth about the name of the firm because it was always Phayu's intention that they would do this together. But Rain had insisted that it be Storm Designs since Phayu was starting it and managing everything on his own first.

Phayu had remained unconvinced until Rain said with his heart in his eyes, "P'Phayu, where there is storm, there is always rain. They can never be separated."

So tonight, Rain had planned a very special celebratory dinner to mark this new chapter.

He had picked a renowned rooftop restaurant with amazing sunset views of the skyline. It was elegant and romantic, just what he wanted.
