Rain still hadn't let his worry go by race day.

They had arrived at the track an hour earlier to get the bike prepped and gear up for the race.

Stop and his crew had also arrived and were in an adjacent service area doing their pre-race prep.

Saifah walked over to Rain noting his tension, "Are you worried about Ai Phayu?" Rain's face was filled with worry.

"Don't worry about him. He's someone who can do anything that he puts his mind to," He said reassuringly.

"By the way, why are you here?" Saifah asked Pai who was lurking at the entry to the service area.

"How could I miss the fun?" Pai said with an easygoing smile

"How could I miss the fun?" Pai said with an easygoing smile. "I've only seen him test out the bikes but never race for real. I'd be stupid to miss it."

He then said quietly to Saifah, "Besides this doesn't just involve you and me now," thinking about the trick they had played on Stop, easily manipulating his conceit to compete against the #1 racer, Pai.

Rain heard them and felt his anxiety grow.

"As someone who has competed with him before, who do you think will win?" Saifah asked Pai.

Pai smiled knowingly at Saifah and Rain. "Although I've only known Ai Phayu for a few years, there's something that I've been certain about since the day we met. Ai Phayu would never do something he thinks he can't do. And I've noticed there's nothing he can't do."

"Is that what you think P'Pai?" Rain asked, desperate for reassurance.

Pai nodded and asked in turn, "What about you Rain, who do you think will win?"

Rain thought about all that he had just heard, but before he could answer, Phayu entered the service area having just suited up.

Rain's brain melted when he saw his man in head-to-toe racing gear for the first time.

He looked larger than life striding in with total confidence

He looked larger than life striding in with total confidence.

The white, black, and blue leather racing suit - which matched his blue racing bike - showed off his broad shoulders and chest to perfection. The suit then tapered down and clung to his thighs and legs like a second skin, making Rain's heart pick up speed. Wow! was all he could think.
