Chapter 7 A 3rd Crystal

(Maretime Bay)

Sunny and Hitch made it back to Maretime Bay late in the afternoon Sunny slowly made her way to the lighthouse "I'm right here if you need to talk, Sunny" said Hitch Sunny didn't repeal just continued walking when she finally made home at the lighthouse the picture by the door went crooked again but Sunny didn't fix it Sunny went up to her room and started putting away her dolls of the mane six and the lantern I entered the lighthouse I saw the crooked picture and fixed it and went upstairs and saw Sunny more depressed then ever "Sunny?" I said "OH hey Xavier" she said not looking at me "Sunny we can't just give up there has to be something were missing" I said "Look I appreciate what your trying to do Xavier but it not going to work okay I failed" said Sunny "NO I not going to let you say that there has to be something were missing" Sunny's lantern then started to shine Sunny walked over a saw a White Crystal inside the lantern that's what seemed to giving off the light Sunny took it out of the lantern and looked at it I looked over a table that had a bunch of papers on it but saw some engravings in the wood I moved the papers aside and in the middle of a shape that looked like the unicorn crystal and pegasus crystal join together with a 3rd one "Sunny put the crystal here" I said Sunny came over did what she was told the symbol then sink into the table "A 3rd crystal" said Sunny "The earth pony one it's this one" I said ' we have to tell them" said Sunny "I'll get Izzy Zipp and Pipp you go and tell Hitch" I said "On it and Xavier" said Sunny "Yeah?" I said Sunny came over and gave me a kiss on the cheek we both blushed "That's a thank you for coming to help me" "No problem" I said Sunny ran in the street on Maretime Bay which looked deserted "Sunny!" yelled Hitch coming out of the station "Hitch! Hitch! I figured it out! There's actually a third—!" began Sunny but then fireworks shot up from the Canterlogic factory they then saw the citizens of Maretime bay all in the anti-mind reading helmets march as they were in the army "Huh? Hey, w-wait. What is going on here?" Hitch asked Toots "We can't tell you. We've signed the Official Sprout Act" said Toots "Official Sprout what?" said Hitch "The Stallion-in-Chief!" said Sweets "Sprout?!" said Sunny and Hitch on a high rise platform stood a podium "Step!" came a voice "Oh, right!" said Sweets she pushed a step up the ramp to the podium the pushed down on a lever to lifted the step up Sprout came into view now wear black auditory glass "Citizens of Maretime—!" said Sprout a huge banner flaps down covering him he struggles to lift it off him by gets back to the podium "Can we try that again?" he asked "Sprout! What are you doing?" say's Hitch "Awww. Little Sheriff Hitchy came trotting back. Waaaah. Just in time to see me do what you couldn't – attack our enemies!" said Sprout "Ugh. Wait, wait, no, Sprout, listen to me. Listen to me. The Pegasi and unicorns can be our friends. There's no need to be afraid of them Alicorns either. Besides, they don't even have any magic" said Hitch "What?" said Phyllis "No magic Hah! That's even better!" laughs Sprout "But we can bring magic back! Bring friendship back!" said Sunny "So we don't have to fight? That's a relief" said Sparkle Chaser taking off the antic-mind reading helmet all the ponies started to take them off to "W-Wait, what! Whoa, whoa, whoa! Don't listen! They've been brainwashed! You'll all be next if we don't end this now!" they all stop and put them back on Sprout then laughs evilly behind him a huge machine that looks like a giant Sprout emerges "Say hello... to Sprouticus Maximus!" he says "Maybe this is a bit too much, dear!" said Phyllis Sprout didn't listen he hopped in and started the engine "Troops! On to Bridlewood!" he said driving off "We have to warn them!" said Sunny

Meanwhile with me I had just got to the sign that said Now leaving Maretime Bay I then ran into Izzy Zipp and Pipp "Guy's oh thank hoofness that I didn't have to go all the way back to Bridlewood or Zephyr Heights" I said "Missed you too" said Zipp Sunny and Hitch then came running up behind me "Sunny!" said Izzy "What are you guys doing here?" asked Sunny "We don't care what anypony says!" said Izzy "Yeah! We just want to stay friends!" said Zipp "Pipp! Zipp!" said Queen Haven came up behind them still followed by the guards "I know you're upset, darlings, my sweet little darlings, but it's time to go home now" she said Alphabittle and a couple of unicorn then came up "Izzy Moonbow, you're gonna get us all jinxed! Come back to Bridlewood!" he said "Excuse me! Do you see my mouth still moving? That means I'm still a-talking!" said Queen Haven "You're all in danger!" said Sunny "I'm sorry, what?" said Queen Haven "Yeah what?" I said Sprout and the ponies off Maretime then arrived "Would you look at this? Our enemies delivered themselves to us!" said Sprout "No, no, no, we're not here to fight, Mr. Big Robot Pony" said Queen Haven "I do not accept your surrender! Load the Splat-a-pults!" but all the ponies just turned and ran away "Why do I have to do everything myself?!" said Sprout he pushed button and two Splat-a-pults emerged from either side of his machine "We have to stop that thing!" said Zipp "But how?" said Izzy "With magic! Quick! I need your crystals!" said Sunny Queen Haven and Alphabittle handed over there Crystals "There's a third crystal! Follow me!" said Sunny "What?" said Hitch we started running towards the lighthouse "Oh, no, you don't!" said Sprout "I've gotta rein that thing in!" said Hitch "I've got your back, Hitch!" said Zipp "Right behind yea" I said Hitch and Zipp jumped on the back I got in front of it and used my magic to try and stop it which worked but I realized I was only slowing it down "How I thought no pony had magic?" said Sprout "Meet the one Alicorn that can" I said "Sprout! Stop!" said Hitch Sunny Izzy and Pipp made it to the top of the lighthouse some of the splat-a-plats shot the lighthouse rocking it making Sunny drop the crystals "Where are the other crystals?" said Sunny "This... ends... now!" I said still holding it back "What, and let them have magic?! Never!" said Sprout he managed to drive closer "Aah! Sunny!" said Pipp look out the window "Got it! We need the Unicorn Crystal!" said Sunny grabbing the Pegasus one "I'm looking, I'm looking!" said Izzy in a panic "Found it!" said Izzy Sprout slammed into the light house breaking it apart causing Izzy to drop the crystal "Aah! No, no, no, no!" said Izzy Pipp fell onto the elevator which went straight down fast luckily it stopped a few feet from the ground "Whew... I'm okay!" said Pipp the slap-a-pults continued to batter the lighthouse destroy more of it "We need to shut these down!" said Zipp some flew toward Alphabittle's mice he got in front of them to shield them from it but now he was in the way of Sprout and couldn't move "Alphabittle, look out!" yelled Pipp Queen haven out of nowhere talked him out of the way saving his life hitch and Zipp saw a screw connecting the slat-a-pult to the machine and started to pull it out the top half of the lighthouse start to crumbly and the unicorn crystal landed on a piece of rumble too far for Sunny and Izzy to reach "Sunny low me down " said Izzy Sunny grabbed Izzy hoof and still holding on to started to swing Izzy over to where the Crystal was Hitch and Zipp continued to pull on the screw I saw what they were doing and yelled "Wait stop!" but I was too late the slat-a-pult span straight into the lighthouse nearly hitting Izzy "Okay, that was a bad idea!" said Hitch 

This broke my forces and Sprout slammed into me lucky I teleported out of the way last second "Sprout! Let's put the toy away!" said Phyllis "Mommy, please! I'm in the middle of something!" said Sprout 'You come down from there right now!" she yelled "I've almost got it! Whoa! Oof!" said Izzy reach for the crystal "But, Mommy, I'm... in... chaaaaarge!" said Sprout Phyllis then ran in front of it "I... said... STOP!" she yelled Sprout swerved out of the way slamming hard into the lighthouse "Sunny" yelled Izzy grabbing the crystal and Sunny Lifted her up "Quickly" she said they put all three crystal in place but still nothing happed "It... It didn't work" it didn't work" said Izzy another loud crash sent the whole lighthouse rocking and the crystal fell out I saw Sunny and Izzy fall out the top and I caught them with my magic and settled them down on the ground you looked back at the lighthouse as it start to tumble down it knock Sprout machine over stopping it from firing Sprout got out of the machine and looked at the damage he'd caused Queen Haven and the Pegasus and Alphabittle and the Unicorn all walked up to the remains of the lighthouse "Oh, Sunny..." said Izzy Sunny looked down and saw the picture of her and her dad the frame was broke Sunny sighed "I understand now. It's not the crystals that need to be brought together. It's us" said Sunny "We can bring back everything that was lost, but it's up to us. We can stay separated by fear and distrust, or we can choose friendship. We can choose love. That's the true magic" finished Sunny Queen Haven walked up and fixed one of the sides of the picture frame Alphabittle was next and did the same and lastly so did Phyllis I then walked up put some magic into my hoof and slammed in on top of the frame fixing it we then saw a faint glow form underneath some rubble the three crystal then shot out and started swilling around Sunny lifting her into the air "What? Aah!" a glow orange horn and wings appeared on Sunny the three crystal then joined into the unity sign and blasted a magic boom over the sky I felt a wave of magic energy pass through me I saw Pipp's and Zipp's wing glow then they start flapping and took to the sky "Whoa! We're actually flying!" said Pipp "Whoo!" said Zipp Izzy's horn the glowed slightly "Seems you got your magic back" I said and the Pegasus then tested out there wings and started flying to and the unicorns to the magic to fix an over turned tram "Whoa, Sunny! Check you out!" said Zipp "I can't believe it!" said Sunny

"Never have I seen this is new not a true Alicorn but looks like you can turn into one and now have a rainbow streak in your mane" I said "Now that's what I call a glow-up!" said Izzy the magic spread across all of a Equestria the Pegasus in Zephyr Heights and the Unicorns in Bridlewood the young unicorn from before saw his horn glow and ran to find his dad "Daddy, Daddy! The magic is real!" he yelled all the ponies earth ponies Pegasi and unicorns were now talking with each other Queen Haven: Aw, I see you've made a new friend Pipp took a picture to celebrate the moment "Stunning!" she sang "Mommy? Was I a good sheriff?" said Sprout "Uh, uh... Look! A flying dog!" said Phyllis and quickly walking away we all got together "You did it, Sunny" said Hitch "No. We did it. Together" said Sunny "Now we never have to be apart!" said Izzy we all put are hoof in a circle and said "Hooves to hearts" the balloon pony then showed up finally coming down "Whew! Hey, guys. What did I miss?" he turned around and saw us and screamed
