Lies After Lies

Chapter 6.

Xyrhil's POV.

"Saan kayo galing?"

I sigh as I stare at Cj who was now sitting in the couch, with a beer in his left hand. Kakauwi lang namin ni Eve galing sa Hospital, nagpumilit na kasi ako kay Meldie at Rie na uuwi nalang ako dahil okay naman na ako at hindi na sumasakit yung ulo ko. Nag suggest kasi si Rie na mag stay daw ako doon sa Hospital for two days and I can't do that.

And here's the reason why.

"And what's with the bandage on your head?" I almost scoffed when I heard him say that. He's the reason why I have this and yet the audacity to ask why I have this fucking bandage on my head.

I hid Eve behind me. "Nothing." Maikling sagot ko at aalis na sana nang bigla syang mag salita ulit.

"Hindi mo sinagot yung tanong ko, saan kayo galing?" I took a deep breath as I look at him. "At the Hospital." Wala naman rason para mag sinungaling pa sakanya.

Unti-unti naman syang lumapit sakin kaya mas lalo kong hinigpitan yung hawak ko sa kamay ni Eve.

"Don't think about lying to me." Huminga naman ako ng malalim at tsaka umiling. "I'm not lying." I glance at Eve and I could see that she was confuse. I turned my gaze at Cj. "Please, she's here." Pagmamaka-awa kong tugon dahil alam kong mag uumpisa nanaman si Cj and Eve is here I don't want her to see anything.

Cj scoffed as he walk away. I exhale as I turned around and kneel down. "Go upstairs na baby, I'll cook food for you." She nodded as I smile and pat her head.

I was about to go to the kitchen when Eve called me. "Yes baby, what is it?" She walk towards me as she cutely smile. "Your Professor said that you should take care of yourself daw po." I frown. "Professor? Do you know her?" She shook her head. "She didn't say her name po Ate, pagkatapos po kasi na madala kayo sa Hospital umalis din po sya kaagad." Napatango-tango nalang ako kay Eve at inutusan sya na umakyat na sa taas at magbihis na agad naman nyang sinunod.

Professor? Sino?

Ah, oo nga pala. Nasa Café kahapon yung tatlong Professor pero sino kaya doon? Maybe it's Ms. Ava? Parang sakanilang tatlo kasi sya yung kahit papaano mukhang mabait kahit walang emosyon palagi yung mukha.

Imposible kasi na si Ma'am Albrecht yon dahil para ngang laging galit yon sakin. Parang hihinga lang ako galit na kaagad sakin eh.

Now that I remember it, she was in front of me yesterday when I was about to collapse. I'm sure she saw me.

Habang nagluluto naman ako ay may narinig akong kumakatok sa pintuan namin kaya naglakad ako para pagbuksan iyon.

Pero teka lang? Sino kaya yon? Wala naman bumibisita samin at sigurado akong hindi si Cj yon dahil hindi naman kumakatok yon, sinisipa lang nun yung pintuan namin kapag hindi nya mabuksan.

Nanginginig kong binuksan yung pintuan at tumambad sakin yung tatlong malalaking lalaki, napansin ko din na madami silang tattoo at naninigarilyo pa nga yung nasa gitna.

He smirk at me. "Are you Xyrhil?" I frown as I nodded. "May I ask who you are?"

He's not one of Cj's friend because I know his friends and I'm sure that these guys weren't his friends.

"You don't need to know my name." He look around before turning his gaze on me. "Where is your brother?" I shook my head. "I do not know, he left and he didn't tell me where he's going."

He chuckle as he nodded. "Okay, when he comes back tell him that he only has two more days to pay me back." He leaned towards me and I could smell his cigarette. "And if he didn't pay me, I'll make sure that he will lose one of his sisters." He maniacally laugh as he walk away.
