Lies After Lies

Chapter 20.

Xyrhil's POV.

"How's your little vacation?" Cj said as he walk closer to me.

I stood there, I didn't say anything as he pushed me and I fell up against the wall. Pain shot through my back but I tried not to act like it hurt, it will only give him a satisfaction.

And I refused to give him that.

He grabbed ahold of my shirt and was inches away from my face, I could smell his cigarette. "Why did you come back? Were you scared for your life?" He gritted his teeth but I remain silent.

Scared for my life? Bullshit.

I'm not scared for my life, I'm scared for Eve. I'm scared of what might happen to her if I refuse to do this.

He leaned back to punch me in my stomach and I immediately bent over in pain. He grabbed my hair and made me look at him.

"Where the hell have you been?" Since when did he care? Last time I checked, he didn't care about nothing, but himself.

"Answer me, you little shit." I smirk. "I was out with my friends, is that a problem?" As if he cares.

I was brave because I know that he can't do anything to me because he'll deliver me to Balthazar, and it's because I know that this is probably my last time facing this great brother of mine.

He let go of my hair but he immediately grabbed my arm and I felt his nails digging in my skin. I pulled my arm and saw him stare at me. I didn't need to tell him where I've been because it's none of his damn business.

Hindi ko nga pinapakealamanan kung saan sya pumupunta at kung anong ginagawa nya palagi.

He grabbed my arm and glared at me. "Don't pull away when I'm fucking talking to you!" I could hear the venom in his voice.

Mas lalo nya pang hinigpitan yung hawak sa braso ko, sinubukan kong hilain yung braso ko pero wala naman nangyari. He pulled me with all his strength up to the stairs but I lost my balance and fell down the stairs.

Fucking great.

I felt every pain in my body as I laid there. Nakita ko naman na bumaba sya sa hagdan at naglakad papa-lapit sakin, and I knew he wasn't near done. I shut my eyes as he approached me and I felt pain in my stomach when he kicked me. It knocked the air right out of me and I was gasping as I tried to breath.

I opened my eyes and see him bending down and grabbing my hair. "Listen to me." I felt my tears fell down on my cheeks. "I'll deliver you to Balthazar and you will do anything he tells you."

If there is an award for a bastard like him, he'll totally get it.

He tightened his grip on my hair as I winced. "If you try to escape, I'll fucking kill Eve."

I grabbed his collar and glared at him. "If you ever lay your hands on Eve, I'll kill you. I really will kill you."

It wasn't an empty threat. I will surely kill him if he does anything to Eve. Kaya ko pang tiisin yung mga ginagawa nya sakin pero hindi ko na papalagpasin kung may gagawin pa syang masama kay Eve.

He maniacally laugh as he dragged me upstairs by the hair and I felt every tiny pain throughout my body as it hit every step. He pulled me in my room and slammed me to the ground.

"Change your clothes, we're leaving." He kicked me one last time as he left my room.

I laid there and tried to stop myself from crying but it was no use. The pain in my body was worse than anything and I couldn't bare it any longer.
