Chapter 21.

Xyrhil's POV.

"What do you think?"

"Are you serious?" Raven nodded as I sigh. "Pare-parehas lang ng lasa yung boiled egg, Raven."

Kanina nya pa ako tinatanong ng tinatanong kung ano daw yung lasa nung itlog na kinakain ko, kung masarap daw ba, baka daw kasi magka-iba yung lasa ng itlog na kinakain ko sa kinakain nya. Kung hindi ba naman siraulo.

Raven shrugged. "Malay mo kasi mas masarap yung sayo diba." I rolled my eyes and didn't say anything as I continue to eat.

"When was the last time you eat a steak?" I frowned. "Hindi pa ako nakakakain nun."

"Are you serious?" She unbelievably ask. I raised my left eyebrow. "Do I look like I'm joking?"

Raven gasp as I shook my head. "That's crazy." I scoffed. "No it's not. You're just being dramatic."

Hindi naman big deal na hindi pa ako nakakakain ng steak, hindi din naman kasi ako interesado. Sadyang may saltik lang to si Raven.

"Say, how long have you been here?" Raven shrugged as she took a bite on her boiled egg. "Around two or three years, I'm not entirely sure."

"What? That long?" She hummed as she nodded.

"Why didn't you try to escape?" I don't understand. She's been here for that long and she didn't even try to escape?

"For what? For the record, I'm the one who decided to come here. It's my choice to stay here and I don't plan to escape." She said plainly.

"I don't understand." Naguguluhan kong sagot.

Raven chuckle. "You know what, let's talk about you."

Agad naman akong umiling. Wala naman mapag uusapan tungkol sakin. I have a shitty life, that's it.

"It's been three days since you arrived here. Your friends must've been looking for you."

Ah, she's right. Tatlong araw na nga pala yung nakakalipas simula dumating ako dito. Panigurado akong hinahanap na ako nila Meldie at Rie ngayon. Pero alam ko din na kahit anong pag aalala sakin ni Hans ngayon ay hindi nya ako hahanapin dahil nagpaalam ako sakanya.

Hans trusts me. And he always respect my decisions even though he's clueless about what's happening to me. I'd like to keep it that way, I don't want them to know anything.

And who knows, baka kapag nag stay din ako dito ng ilang taon, they'll eventually forget about me.

"Even if they come looking for me. They won't find me." I glance at her. "You're here for so long and no one finds you."

Raven shook her head as she slightly smile. "That's because no one will look for me." She paused as she leaned her back on the wall. "I'm an orphan."

"Sorry." Mahina kong tugon na ikina-iling nya lang. "It's fine." She paused for a moment then added. "It's not that bad, you know, being an orphan and all."

"Yeah, you know I'm kind like an orphan myself." I said, chuckling.

It's true though. Me and Eve are as good as orphan now.

"Do you have any sibling?" Raven shook her head. "I'm only child. At least that's what the orphanage told me." She chuckle. "Do you wanna know my life story?"

"Are you willing to tell me?" Raven laugh and shook her head. "Sasabihin ko sayo kapag naging kami na."

I scoff. "It's an unrequited love."

She gasped and put her hand on her chest and acted like she was hurt. "Do you have to say that?" I chuckle and shook my head. "Sorry, slipped of my tounge."
