Xyrhil's POV.
"Dapat pala nandoon ako, I will never get a chance to see Chairman Garcia again." Charlyn said as she pout.
"He's my Father. You can see him anytime."
I frowned. "Where?" She shrugged as she play with the straw that she was holding. "I'm bored. Punta tayong mall." I roll my eyes and continue to brew coffee. "You know that I'm busy and I have a work.
Hans cleared his throat as we turned our gaze on him. "Actually." He trailed off. "What is it?" I ask and he sigh.
"Wala ka ng trabaho sa 19 East."
"What!?"
"You'll only be working here." I shook my head. "No, Hans. I need that job. I need two jobs."
I furrowed my brows. "What do you mean? You don't have to do that." I frustratingly sigh and ran my fingers through my hair. "I'll just find a new job."
"No." Hans shook his head as he walk towards me and smile. "I insist, it's also not good for your health to work two part time job and you're still studying. So please, don't be stubborn and just listen to me, for once."
"You also know that it's not safe for you and Eve to go home in the middle of the night right? She's a kid, she needs her proper sleep and she wouldn't be able to do that if you kept on working in 19 East." I sigh and turned my gaze on Charlyn.
Charlyn is right. After what happened that night, it's not safe for me and Eve to go home in the middle of the night. Eve must've been tired but she didn't want me to worry so she didn't say a thing about it.
I'm such a terrible older sister.
I took a deep breath as I nodded. "Okay." I turned my gaze on Hans. "Thank you so much for your help, Hans. I really do appreciate it, one day I'll surely pay you." He chuckle as he shook his head. "You do not need to do that. Just make sure to graduate."
I'm really lucky that I met these people. They're such a blessing in my life. Hans is more like a Brother to me than Cj. He always takes care of us and he's making sure that we're out of danger. I wish Cj could do that too.
"See! Pwede mo akong samahan mamaya sa mall." I roll my eyes. "Shut up, Meldie."
----
"Eve, pick whatever you like inside this mall and we will buy it." "Don't tell her that." She shrugged. "Why not? She's the princess today and princess gets whatever she wants." I scoffed as I held Eve's hand and walk away. "Don't listen to Ate Melds okay? She's not well today." I wink at her as she cutely giggles.
