Chapter 14.

Xyrhil's POV.

"Ma'am, pwede po bang mag commute nalang kami?" Mahinang sambit ko pero alam kong narinig nya yon pero pinili nya lang talaga akong hindi pansinin.

I sigh. "Thea, just drop us off there." Turo ko sa isang malapit na convenience store. She stop the car as she turned around and stare at me.

"Why don't you want me to know your address?" Seryosong tanong nya pero umiling lang ako. "Kaya naman po namin mag commute."

"You ran away last time, you're even calling me by my second name knowing that I am your Professor, and now you're using 'po' and 'opo' again. It doesn't suit you." She said as she rolled her eyes that made me sigh.

Okay, hindi pa din pala sya nakaka-get over doon, akala ko kasi kanina okay na kami, okay na sya tungkol doon sa pag takas na ginawa ko.

She turned her gaze on Eve before shaking her head. "She's sleeping soundly, you can't wake her up." She looked up to see me. "Just tell me your address, I don't have time to argue with you, Davidson."

Wala din akong time para makipag-argue sakanya, bakit ba kasi gustong-gusto nila ako ihatid? Kaya ko naman umuwi ng maayos? I mean, okay lang din naman kung bubuhatin ko si Eve, mahihirapan kami, oo. Pero sanay naman na kasi ako, ang tagal ko kayang nagtrabaho sa 19 East at tuwing uuwi kami ay madalas buhat ko si Eve dahil masarap yung tulog nya.

Why is this woman so stubborn?

I took a deep breath. "Thea please--"

"Shut up and give me your address." Iritang tugon nito kaya naman napa-buntong hininga nalang ako at napahilamos sa mukha ko gamit yung dalawang palad ko.

Gusto ko nalang maging sisiw sa freezer.

Saan ba to pinaglihi ng Mama nya? Ang tigas ng ulo eh. And I'm sure as hell, by the look of her right now, she won't accept a no for an answer.

Damn it. What should I do? Hindi ko din kasi alam kung nandoon ba si Cj, kung naka-uwi na ba sya. Ayokong makita ni Cj si Ma'am Albrecht, at ayoko din makita ni Ma'am Albrecht si Cj. Ayokong mag pang abot silang dalawa at panigurado akong tatanungin at uusisain ako ni Cj kung sino si Ma'am Albrecht kapag nakita nya yon.

I don't want Ma'am Albrecht to get into trouble because of me.

"Xyrhil."

"W-what?" I stuttered.

Did she just call me by my first name? I must've been hallucinating right?

Stupid heart, stop beating so damn loud and fast. So what, if she called you by your first name? It wasn't a big deal.

Not at all.

"Xyrhil, give me your address."

She really did call me by my first name. I could feel my cheeks heat up and I was sure that I probably look like a tomato right now. My hands are sweating and my head is in chaos as well as my heart as it keeps beating irregularly. I could feel something in my stomach but I can't exactly tell what it is or what is even going on with me.

I can't help but to stare at Ma'am Albrecht who was now staring at me with those hazel brown eyes of her, it feels like I'm being drawn in it and I couldn't get out. I'm trapped and the worst part is, I'm letting myself be drawn to her. I couldn't help but to avert my gaze on her red pinkish cupid bow lips, I wonder how soft it is if I close our gap and capture her lips with mine.

"Thea, you're beautiful."

Fuck! What did I say? Ah, I must've been crazy! How could I say that to my Professor?
