Xiao Zhan's steps slow down as he heads past the familiar signpost in front of Yibo's territory, unable to ignore the excitement of seeing the other again.

A wide smile forms on his lips, and he puts his hand in front of himself, walking past the border spell at a stable pace.

He raises his gaze, though, when he hears the continuous crackling of autumn leaves, and meets eyes with an unfamiliar man. There is no scent that he'd learned was from werewolves, so Xiao Zhan finds it hard to distinguish if he is one, or a human instead.

"Ah, Mr. Xiao, you've returned," said stranger remarks, before saluting to him. "Mr. Wang is here."

Xiao Zhan subtly narrows his eyes in confusion but bows back with a polite smile. Since the man speaks Mandarin, Xiao Zhan assumes that he knows Yibo from some circumstances.
