"Khloe, I'm telling you he was staring at your ass." Brayden whispered as he looked back. He quickly wrapped his arm around my waist, grazing the top of my butt, "She's mine you creep."

I looked up at him, his eyes still on that guy behind us. I reached up with my left hand and placed it on his cheek, "Why don't we make him jealous?"

He smiled, for he knew exactly what I meant. He started leaning down slowly, but then I took my right hand up also and wrapped the both of them around his neck, pulling him down to me. His face quickly came to mine, but I was ready for it. I started kissing him like we haven't in forever, for I don't exactly believe in the French kiss in public. He knew that too, he only wanted for me to be happy, but today, time for him to get what he wants.

His hand reached down and grabbed my butt, which I thought was a bit inappropriate normally, but then I realized that we may never get to this type of situation with my beliefs and his ticking time bomb.

I started crying, tears rolling down to our lips. I could taste them. I thought people said that tears tasted just like water, that there was no difference. I don't believe a word now, for it all tasted like salt water.

Brayden noticed the tears in his mouth too, for he pulled away, "Sweetheart, do you wanna just leave?"

I looked up at him, his worry had spread through his face really quick.

"No, it's fine." I said as I took my arms from around his neck and put them around his waist, holding him tight.

He kissed the top of my head and walked me over to a wall, he took my arms from around him and sat down. I followed, but I started crying so much that I couldn't exactly find where I was to sit. When I sat down, I felt my butt hit something comfortable, not hard and cold like the ground usually is.

"I guess this is nice to." I turned to my side and took off my glasses, I could see a blur of Brayden right where I was to be.

Instead of getting off, I curled up and leaned up on him, "I'm so sorry this has to happen to you. You are such a great guy. I just don't get why it has to happen to you out of all people. I love you .. I love you."

He wrapped his arms around me and started crying too, "Khloe, you are the love of my life. Literally my life. I don't know how to express my love for you into words."

I started crying even more, makeup streaming down my face. It hurts to know you are losing someone, especially if you wanted to spend the rest of your life with them. I had never pictured being away from him, and trying to picture it now only made my heart crush into smaller pieces.

"Khloe, you know that ring I had put on your charm bracelet?" Brayden asked, his hand reaching for something in his pocket.

I nodded, for I couldn't speak.

He took a little box from his pocket, "Khloe, will you be my pretend wife for as long as I shall live?"

I stopped crying for a second, for that's how long it took me to realize what he had just asked me. I pulled away from his warmth and looked at him, but instead of looking up at him, I was looking down at him. Maybe I should sit on him more often so that I look taller.

"It would be an honor to be your wife, pretend or not."I said, a tear spilling from my eye. I looked down and saw that his little box had a beautiful promise ring inside of it. "Oh, Brayden."

He stopped me, for he didn't want me to tell him it's too much or he shouldn't have. He simply wanted to do the good deed and get it over with.

"Hey look. Isn't that Chance?" He asked, pointing to a distant part of the mall. He had multiple fingers pointing in multiple directions, for I didn't have my glasses on.

I put my glasses on, the mall turned from a blur to completely clear. I could see Chance in fact, but he didn't look his usual self.

"I'll be right back." I said as I stood up, "Something is wrong."
