Have you ever experienced waking up to your pillow being soaked in multiple liquids? Those being both tears and drool.

I probably wouldn't have woken up if it wasn't for my sister, Makenzy, screaming her little 7 year old head off.

I reached to find my glasses, "Kenzy, stop screaming please? You woke me up."

I heard a shuffling right up against my door, and then I saw her little lips push their way underneath the crack in my door, "Sowwy Klo."

I finally found my glasses, they had fallen onto my floor sometime last night. I put them on only to find multiple black streaks on both lenses, blocking my line of sight.

I reached for a shirt to wipe the black off, but I found I was still wearing my red dress from the night before.

"Klo?" I heard my sister say, her hand now playing with my doorknob.

"Yes Kenzy?"

"Can I come in?"

I looked around, making a scan of my room to make sure nothing in here was meant to be hidden. I couldn't see anything worth freaking out about, she's seen it all before.

"Sure."

She opened the door, revealing her little mermaid night gown, "Daddy said you needed a huggy."

I laughed, a tear rolling from my eye, "A huggy would be very nice. Thank you."

She walked over and wrapped her petite, fragile arms around me. I could feel them trying to come together on my back, but failing and slipping.

"What happened? Did Brayden hurt you because I can go beat him up for you." She said when she pulled away, she quickly lifted up her dainty little fists infront of her face. Her face held an expression I had only seen in her when we took her favorite blanket she gave the name of Lovey.

I laughed, "No, you little dork. You know Brayden treats me right."

"Then what is it?"

I don't think telling her would be the best thing to do when she is only 7 years of age. Telling her this, would be like telling her that Santa Clause doesn't exist.

"I just got hurt last night is all. Don't worry, I'm fine now."

She put her fists down and smiled, "Well then my services are no longer needed."

I laughed, for she did not talk like the average 7 year old does. "Thank you. Should I pay you for that?"

She stepped back in my room, "I think some of your birthday candy will do."

I looked down at a whole gift bag full of candy, every child's dream. I don't exactly know why so many people got me candy.

"What would you like?" I asked, for she was staring at me with such a huge smile.

She jumped, running towards the bag, "Hershey's!"

She grabbed them before I could say anything, "Thank you Klo."

"Anytime Dork." I laughed.
