An hour later, my friends started showing up one by one: Ainsley, Rose, Brynn, Patrick, Arabelle, Xander, Thomas, James, Brock, and a bunch more people. I had invited Chance, for he was my bestfriend not that long ago, but he wasn't showing up. Things have been weird with us lately, he hasn't exactly been talking to me like he used to in 7th grade. But then again, he is probably just busy or something.

"Hey sweetheart, do you want me to take out the drinks?" My mom yelled, even though she was standing five feet away from me, I could barely hear her. My dad turned on Pandora, and although it was on a slow song right now, it was so loud that I could feel it beating throughout my body.

I nodded without looking at her. She could tell I was distracted, but instead of leaving me alone, she walked right next to me and whispered in my ear, "Khloe. You know you are staring at the door right?"

I turned my head towards her, taking one last glance at the door, seeing nothing but the bare cement. I looked at my mom, finding her staring at my bracelet. She smiled as she picked up the ring charm, "Did Brayden give this to you?"

I blushed as I looked down at the bracelet also, "Yah, he gave it to me this morning."

She looked up at me again, "You've got a good one there, Sweetheart. He really loves you."

I was blushing even more now, my face felt really red and hot. All of a sudden, I felt an arm around my shoulder. I turned around seeing the exact person I needed to see at the moment: Brayden.

"Well," my mom started, "Speak of the Devil." My mom grabbed my hand, smiled at me, and then walked away.

Brayden wrapped his arms around my waist, turned me around, and pulled me close. His big eyes staring into mine, he said, "Khloe Elisabeth Brady, I've been wanting to pull you aside for a while now."

I stared at him with confusion, I didn't exactly know why he would when we made out like half an hour ago. Although, I really want to do it again.

"I wanted to ask you if I could take you out to dinner tonight." He said as he pulled a tie out from his jacket pocket. "My suit is in my trunk." He pulled me even closer and leaned down to kiss me.

All of a sudden, I felt a hand touch my shoulder, making me stop in action. I looked up at Brayden who was staring at something behind me. I turned around to see my dad staring at Brayden, looking very stern.

"Dad," I said as I jumped around, grabbing Brayden's hands from behind him. "We were just talking, nothing to worry about. Don't freak out."

My dad started laughing, "Don't worry, baby. I was just gonna ask the young man if he planned on taking you out tonight."

I sighed and I could feel the air release from Brayden's chest too. "Yes sir, I'm taking her out tonight. I have my suit all ready in my trunk."

"Well that was what I was hoping for." My dad reached into his pocket and grabbed his keys and his wallet. "I want you to go out with your girls and buy a beautiful new outfit with some jewelry."

He took out a handful of money from his wallet and handed it to me along with a pair of keys that I've never seen before. Hanging from the key chain was a strip of metal, engraved on it was my name.

I took the keys from him and screamed, "YOU GUYS GOT ME A CAR?!"

"No, we got you keys." My dad said sarcastically.

"Oh stop it," I said as I took Brayden's hand once again. "Thank you so much Daddy."

He smiled. He reached over and took our hands, the ones that we were holding, and held them. He looked down at them and smiled even more, he looked up at the both of us, "You two are a match that is representing something as true as the bible itself. You two are something I was searching for years, I found it way later than you two. I'm so jealous of you two, I wish I could've been this in love when I was your age."

With this he turned me around, and had me facing Brayden, who's smile was stretching from ear to ear. He looked down at me, holding me so close that I could feel his heart beat as if it were my own. "Khloe, you have found your true love."

I looked up and Brayden once again, his heart beating so much faster than it was before. I stood up on my tippy toes and put my arms around his neck, "I truly have found the love of my life haven't I?" I smiled, and kissed him right upon his lips, not stopping for anyone, for I knew that I wanted us to be one. As long as we were kissing and were pushed up on each other, we were one, and nobody could change that.
