"You're really cute." Chance said as he ran his hand through my hair, catching on a knot at the very bottom. I found myself blushing, but then quickly realized that I should probably stop his flirting.

I took his hand from my hair and held it on his leg, "You know we can't .."

He laughed, interrupting me, "You know me, I would never kiss my bestfriend and screw with my other bestfriend, that's just all too wrong."

I laughed nervously, for I had become embarrassed by how quickly he was able to say that and how quickly I was to assume. He put his other hand on mine, which was taking place on his hand. We had a tower going of hands, the only one left was my left hand.

"I love you Khloe, and I'll be honest with you: I fell for you that first day in the library. You're an amazing person, I'd do anything for my first love." He said, now holding my hand, our fingers webbed together.

I started playing with a piece of thread that was hanging down from my shirt. I was becoming very bashful, but to let him know would be suicide. "Anything you say?"

His eyebrows tilted in such a way that I could tell he was about to do something, if only I knew what. His hand was shaking, making it seem as if he were nervous about something, or say something, but he never did.

"Hey, can we watch a movie? I'm not feeling too well and I just need to cuddle up and relax." I said, trying not to sound like I wanted to cry, which was exactly what I was planning on doing. I started thinking about Brayden and how he would hold my hand in this way. He would start to play around, trying to make me lose my grip, only to have me grip even harder.

"Yah, go get a movie butt munch." He said, making himself comfortable in all of the throw pillows.

I ran out to our living room to the shelf which bore all of our movies, tears already streaming down my face. I could feel my heart being ripped slowly, as if each thread was being ripped on it's own. I could feel the weight of everything boring right into me, breaking me even more than I was before.

"Hurry up Klo, the bed is going to be cold if you don't hurry." Chance yelled, from the top of his lungs. He is the most impatient person I know.

I started to grab The Fault in our Stars, my hand almost grasping the rectangular box. But I realized that he was gonna get bored way too easily, that a Harry Potter Marathon would be the best thing right now.

I wiped my tears, making my hands the canvas of my black mascara that was attacked by my malicious tears. They simply won't let me live a normal, happy life. "I'm coming." I yelled back, grabbing the case full of Harry Potter movies.

When I walked into the guest room again, I saw the dork laying on his side, "I've been expecting you." He said, a smirk stretched across his face.

I started laughing so hard that I snorted, not the most lady-like thing to do but I guess it doesn't matter with my bestfriend. He started laughing really hard as he shot up, sitting up straight, "You snorted!"

I jumped into the bed and he immediately stared tickling me, making me laugh even harder. His hands were pressed into my sides, leaving an imprint on my side.

"You had enough?" He exclaimed, implying he was tired but didn't want to stop and let me win. I looked at him, giving him the death stare.

"Okay .. Okay fine. Go put the movie in." He said, knowing I was about to smack him and then leave.

I smiled again, for I had won in the way I wanted to. Ha, sucker.

I ran to put the movie in, taking the first movie out of the case. "I got the best movies ever, you'll love them."

"I'm guessing it's Harry Potter huh?" He asked as he let out a little laugh.

"Maybe .."

"Well come lay down, I'm waiting."

I jumped and flopped right next to him, part of me hitting his side. I looked at him but he didn't care, he was waiting for the movie to load. He laid with his arms behind his head, his legs crossing. Seeing him lay like this reminded me of my dad, he always stretches out when we watch movies.

I curled up, my head right below his shoulder, and began to cry when the movie started playing. He'd just think that I was crying because of the movies the whole time, I would hope.
