Thalia Avalon

"Thalia, are you okay? What's going on with you? You've been acting weird these past few days. You keep forgetting your lines and ranting about how tired you are, yet you can't even sleep. We're at the final scene—why are you messing up now? What’s really the problem?"

"Claire, I'm not in the mood to argue with you. I just have a lot on my mind. Please leave me alone," I say weakly while massaging my forehead.

I haven't gotten much sleep since the incident, and it's not just me—the other three haven't either. Every night, we take turns watching over her, hoping she'll finally wake up. I regret not telling her how I truly felt. I love Kris, but it's too late to confess. My heart shattered when I saw her condition after the surgery. Why did this have to happen to her?

She hasn’t woken up—not after a day, a week, or even a month. She remains in deep sleep. But we never gave up. After work, we head straight to the hospital to stay by her side. Any exhaustion we feel is nothing compared to the pain of seeing the woman I love in this condition.

She woke up after a long period of sleep. We were overjoyed when Rhea told us she was awake, but I was shocked and terrified when she said she couldn’t remember anyone, including herself. It hurt, it was hard to accept that the person you loved no longer remembered you. She pushed us away several times whenever we visited, but none of us gave up. We understood her.

Even though we were exhausted, we chose to go to her, knowing she would probably push us away again. We didn’t care because all we wanted was to see how she was doing. We were happy to see her slowly gaining strength, little by little.

Patapos na ang kontrata, hindi ko na sya matatawag na asawa.

"Miss Thalia, magsisimula na raw kayo."

"All right, thanks."

I need to finish this early, gusto ko na siyang makita.

"Leleth, stop drinking."

I can't think clearly. All of this could have been avoided if I had just picked her up from school.

"Stop crying, c'mon. She'll remember everything about you soon."

"It's easy for you to say, because you're not the one in my situation. I thought we were going to be happy. It hurts here, Ester," I said bitterly, pointing to my chest and lowering my head, letting the tears fall freely.

I miss her so much—her smile, her hugs and kisses, the way she makes my stomach flutter, her sweet voice, and everything about her. I miss everything about her. It hurts every time I look into her eyes. It’s like I’m dead if she looks at me. The spark is gone, the excitement when we see each other is gone, and the beautiful smile on her lips is gone. Everything has changed.

"It's killing me. She's pushed us away so many times, and I'm scared. What if Kris never remembers us? What if she spends the rest of her life not remembering?" I brushed my palm over my eyes to wipe away the tears.

We’ve tried so many times to approach her, but she won’t let anyone near. It hurts because she’s so close, yet so hard to reach. I can’t even hold her hand and tell her how much I love her. We didn’t tell her what we are to her because we didn’t want to make her situation worse, so we kept quiet.
