chapter 3 part 1: strangers again

"why is he acting like that" I asked lip really concerned looking over at me.

"it's late we should go" he replied.

"is there something wrong with him"

"at least we know where he is now, so I can come back and check on him, lets get home aright" when me and lip got back to his house it looked like Fiona was having a party for her birthday.

"thanks for coming with me today maddie"Lip smiled.

"of course, I mean I kind of wish that I hadn't after finding him like that but oh well. i just hope he's okay you know?"I gave him a sad smile before we walked into the party, which ended up with Liam getting into Fiona's coke and an ambulance taking him away and Fiona getting arrested. can't say there's never been a dull moment with the Gallaghers!

I jus don't understand why lan would run away from the army like that and start woking at a club, I mean all he has talked about for the past three years is how much he wanted to join up now he's just run away?

I went and sat in the hospital, with Debbie, carl, Kev, V and Lip while we waited to hear about Liam. i looked over at lip as he looked so stressed and somewhat angry about it, I held his hand while we waited for someone to come out finally telling us how Liam was, we went and checked on him the the hospital room he wasn't doing to good, Kev and V offered to give me a ride back home with Debbie and carl.

Lip wasn't coming because he had to get back to college. As we were walking up the stairs of the house V stopped and asked me about lan.

"hey maddie did you and lip manage to find lan?"V asked.

"yeah..yeah we found him working at a club" I sighed looking over at her.

"Oh honey" she replied then pulling me in for a
hug.

"there is definitely something wrong with him V and I can't help him on my own, not now with Lip trying to look after Liam and do his college work at the same time"i cried.

"why don't you ask your brother?" V said as we pulled away from the hug.

"mickey?"i asked with confusion.

"yeah, see if he can drag lan out of the bar for you"she said.

"thanks V" I smiled as we walked inside.

so the next day i decided to listen to V and asked Mickey to come with me to the club. He had to smack the managers head onto the table for him to tell us that Ian was working at their other bar.

me and mickey walked in to the location of the other bar, i looked over and saw Ian straight away giving some fucking old dude a lap dance.
I immediately started storming over to them.

"Maddie don't"Mickey said while grabbing my arm which caused me to stop. But then I saw the old dude slip a pill into lan's mouth that's when I carried on to go over to them.

"hey times up love birds get the fuck off of him"
I shouted grabbing the old man of him.

he got up and said "I will look for you later Curtis"

"curtis? fucking stage name, are you kidding me
Ian"

"twenty five bucks get's you a dance, don't want a dance got to move on"he said with no emotion, that's really all he had to say. i gave in and handed him the twenty five bucks so we could talk. Mickey obviously didn't want to see this so he waited outside for me.

"so how's your day going so far"he asks.

"how's my fucking day going?"i said back at him.

"havin fun?"Ian said.
