as me and Ian were about to go to the shops we noticed a cop car waiting outside, it was only as we left one officer got out the car.

ahhh fuck this. there was no way i was talking to this cop so i simply left.
moments later i hear someone calling my name.
"maddie! mads come on out cops are gone"Ian yelled as i walked over to him.
"fuck they want?"i asked.
"paula's dead"he said taking a hit of his freshly lit cigarette.
"no shit, really?"i laughed in disbelief.
"it's not funny"Ian added bluntly, he wanted her dead?
"someone threw her out a window"he then added.
"are you kidding that's extremely funny"i said still not believing anything he's saying.
"i'm serious mads , they want us to go into the station for questioning"He explained.
"you know anything about this?"He then asked.
"um no fuck i didn't kill her , do you know something about this?"i asked.
"no of course not, i'm not the one who came home late with any explanation"He added.
"i did explain i was with my brother"
"no you didn't explain why you were with your brother"he explained.
"ok so to be clear, you didn't kill her or you know "didn't kill her"he said using his hands.
"why you putting shit in weird fucking air quotes"i laughed.
"because i didn't fucking kill her"he snapped.
"okay me neither. we both know what we know that we know"i said walking of knowing what i just said made absolutely no sense.
i walked into my cousins house gathered with my brother Mickey, my dad Terry , my cousin Sandy and some of my cousins.
"your late. grab an AK"My dad said grabbing a gun from the table.
"what's up maddie"Mickey said.
"why you make me ask twice, sit file"My dad says angrily.
"i'm not really here to work , pops"i said.
"not here to work, she says you helped us move em last night now you got cold feet?"my dad explained.
"i need advice, actually"i muttered.
"look i'm pretty sure Ian popped that PO"i explained.
"who's Ian?"my dad asked.
"fuck you dad, don't start with that shit"i sighed.
"hey i'm just fucking with me, no way in hell that little gay carrot boy shot her"My dad laughed.
"no. she didn't get shot. she got...pushed out a window"i explained.
"did he tell you he did it?"Mickey asked.
"well kinda, yeah"
"anyone else hear the conversation?"Sandy asked.
"no look , cops want us to come in and answer questions"i sighed.
"fuck all right go get packed"my dad snapped.
"no no i'm not running. i need to protect him. what are my options?"
