The light was blinding at first exposure. He had to quickly cover his eyes with his arm to adjust. When he had finally adjusted and lowered his forearm, he noticed he was on a wooden platform of sorts.
Surrounding him was an empty and dark seating area, in fact, the only light present was the bright spotlights on the stage he was standing on. He lowered his head to look at his apparent golden hands. He then slowly flexed his fingers to confirm be could move.
Once he recovered from his confusion his gaze traveled the room. It landed on his right side as he noticed a slightly smaller golden animatronic like him. He slightly jumped at the sight.
It appeared they had not been up yet, as their eyes were closed and their head was still lowered.
The bear slowly approached the sleeping robot, his hands trembling anxiously. He felt as though he should not be doing this, but...his curiousity was killing him.
He placed a gentle hand on the smaller robot's shoulder.
"...h-hello...?" He muttered quietly. He watched the new animatronic's eyes blink a few times until they were fully opened. They lifted their head up and turned towards the bear, staring in confusion.
The bear stepped back nervously. He felt incredibly shy all the sudden.
The bunny simply smiled at him and began approaching. Caught completely off guard, the bear darted off the stage to build some distance between them.
The bunny animatronic chuckled and began following again.
"Hey there, fella!" He greeted. The bear jumped and scooted himself behind one of the tables. He could feel himself heating up rapidly, but could not determine why or how.
"You're awfully bashful, aren'tcha'?" The bunny tilted his head attentively. The bear ducked under the table to hide.
When he made it under the table mat he peaked behind him to make sure the bunny wouldn't sneak up on him.
When he turned his head again he met face to face with the bunny, who had followed him down again. Their noses touched gently and the bunny giggled, causing the bear to jump back again and scoot backwards. He grabbed two handfuls of the table cloth of the next table over and used it to cover himself as his temperature increased again.
The bunny crawled under the table and approached him slowly, causing the bear to tense up and shut his eyes. When he opened them, what he saw was a golden hand reaching out to him. He glanced up at the owner and the bunny still smiled politely at him, his bright green eyes being illuminated by the stage lights further to their right.
"The name is Spring Bonnie. What's yours?" He asked. The bear hesitantly reached a shaky hand out to the bunny.
"F-Fredbear..." He muttered. The bunny only laughed and took his hand to shake.
"You're so cute! and so shy!" He teased. The bear heated up more at that.
"I am not shy!" He defended. The bunny just chuckled.
"You are!" Spring Bonnie retorted back. The bear huffed and crossed his arms, though his posture relaxed now as the bunny continued laughing.
"You're funny, Fred!" He had finally managed to contain himself. When they both settled down they stopped to get a good look at each other. Fredbear awkwardly held his arms out, noting the bunny didn't stop him or flinch away. He was too friendly and trusting, at least that's what Fredbear thought.
The bear's hands settled on the bunny's shoulders awkwardly as he tried to observe him closer.
It was odd to the bear, seeing another animatronic like him. It appeared the bunny was equally curious, as he too reached forward. The bunny had accidentally placed hand too roughly onto Fredbear's eye while he observed him, causing the bear to yelp in surprise and jump back.
Both of them stood in shock for a moment at the reaction before they broke into a fit of giggles. The mere absurdity of their bodies brought them both joy and wonder. They continued their investigation of eachother and their chatting for a while. They were both so fascinated with the other, though Fredbear was more so impressed with the bunny.
Anytime the bunny touched him or smiled at him he felt shyer and heated up a bit more. The bunny however, did not experience the same feelings, at least, not as obviously as Fred was.
Whoever the other was, it seemed they'd be spending a lot more time together from now on.
