This is becoming unbearable.
Bonnie lost contact with his funtime body for God knows what reason, leaving him with only contact to "Spring Bonnie," who is still being manipulated by that madman.
Bonnie remembers vague details of him. Animatronics are admittedly not the best at identifying faces. They could scan a face and know if it is a human, sure, but they can not identify or remember people based on their face. They recognize people from more vague characteristics, like hair, voice, clothes, etc. But Bonnie associated him most with one thing: the uniform. In the old location, he barely saw any security guards, and he could not recall them from his other locations. The security guards and maintenance workers wore notably different uniforms.
That's why when Bonnie heard a security guard was coming in, he was on high alert.
Was it him? He was not sure, but he sure as hell was not going to take any chances. He'll protect his family at all costs. None of the others seemed bothered by security being around, but they did not know what Bonnie knew. All of them brushed his concerns off.
It was frustrating, but he still would rather them be safe. So when night fell, he awoke. He noticed his friends were still in rest mode. With a sigh, he gave his partner a quick peck on the cheek to not wake him before setting his guitar down very carefully and creeping off the stage.
He had not really thought of a plan. His only objective was to: investigate the security guard and protect his family. As he made his way across the party floor, he could hear a quiet and distant tune playing a bit further away, one he had not heard before. It was like a music box. Besides the slow and eerie music from it, everything else felt oddly cold and silent.
The bunny scowled quietly in frustration but proceeded on. Determined to complete his task.
He knew he was not allowed to be wandering, so if security saw him, he would surely be sent back immediately or powered off. Unfortunately, that meant he had to resort to traveling through the vents.
When he had made it through, he had tried peeking at the guard from the vent to ensure it was not the same man, but he still could not recognize him. As much of a drag as it was, Bonnie crawled out from the vent to get a closer look. When he had stood up again, however, to his confusion, the security guard was not there anymore.
It was just an empty Freddy body. The bunny glanced around the office to confirm it, and in fact, there was no sign of the man. Had he imagined it all?
He begrudgingly left down the hall again. He had just made it back to the party room when he was startled by a metal arm flying over his mouth and another grabbing his shoulders to hold him still. His ears shot up, and his eyes narrowed in alarm before he glanced up and saw it was Foxy.
The fox was in terrible shape. It looked like he had been torn apart. Bonnie laughed nervously.
"H-have you lost weight? Or -" He snickered immaturely at his own joke. The fox groaned and attempted to speak through his broken voice.
"Ẅ̶͕̓ḥ̶̈́͗ͅy̴̧͛̑͝ͅ ̵̧͒̾̂w̵̨̜͛̒̎é̵̻r̴̮̺̔͘͠ę̴̳̝́͌ ̵̘̮̠̽ỷ̴̼͔̌͝ǒ̷̧͉͎̚ū̶̥ͅ ̸̖̳̏͗ḯ̵̥ṇ̷̣͔́̽̐ ̸̞̣͙͊t̷͚̪̦́̈h̸̫̽e̶̗̓̂ ̷̛̱̞̫o̶̖̜͠f̷͈͍̣̎̑̅f̴̜͑i̶̻̓c̸̯͍̎͒͠e̴̞͑ͅ?̵͊!" He demanded. The bunny blinked.
"...huh...?" He questioned. He felt a hand grab his shoulder and turn him around, seeing it was Chica.
"What were you doing all the way in the office??" She whispered. Bonnie mentally slapped himself for being so careless. They had caught on.
"...how did you guys find out?" He asked. Chica scoffed.
"Foxy saw the whole thing and told me." She crossed her arms.
"You didn't tell Freddy, did you?" Bonnie cut in. Chica squinted in confusion.
"N-no... he's still asleep. Why?" She asked. Bonnie sighed in relief.
"Good, don't even bring it up to him." He placed a hand on her shoulder. The bird blinked incredulously.
"Why?? Bonnie, what is going on with you?!" She demanded. Bonnie brushed it off.
"I was curious, that's all! You guys don't have to monitor me like a child." He reprimanded.
"Well, Freddy specifically told us to stay away from people after closing -" she was cut off again.
"Freddy doesn't tell me what to do." He clarified. Chica sighed.
"Just get back to stage, ok? It's not good to be wandering around here." She reminded. Bonnie shook his head.
"You don't tell me what to do either. I can be off stage as much as I want!" He complained. Chica grabbed his wrist to try pulling him to stage, to which the stubborn bunny pulled back and held his ground.
"Let go! I'm not going anywhere!" He warned, trying to push her off but being cautious not to hurt her. The chicken only groaned back just as stubbornly.
"No! It might not be safe to stay out!" She countered. The mangled fox had climbed over at this point and attempted to deesculate things to no avail.
"Just lay off!" Bonnie's voice rose as his patience was fading. But Chica continued to pull. She was, unfortunately, not looking where she was going and tripped over a wet floor sign.
As she was falling, she did not have time to let go of Bonnie's hand as she landed on her tail. Due to these new, more fragile bodies, the bottom half of Bonnie's arm and hand was ripped off from the force of the fall. Because the bunny had been pulling the opposite direction and now lacked an arm to balance himself, he had stumbled backward and took a harsher fall to the ground, hitting the tile head first.
The harsh hit to his face managed to pop his jaw out of place, leaving it hanging. He had also powered off completely on impact, having no time to settle or close his eyes.
When Chica recovered to her senses and looked down, she screamed out in horror at the sight of Bonnie's arm in her hand and the bunny unresponsive on the ground. The fox had been stunned for a few seconds before he crawled down and tried looking Bonnie over.
Foxy had to divert his attention to Chica, who was now gripping the sides of her head and curling in on herself whilst trembling and heaving. He slid over and tried calming her before she overheated. All of the noise had finally attracted Freddy as he sprinted in.
"Chica, are you ok-?!" Freddy had cut himself off at the sight of Bonnie.
Everything was silent for a moment, and the world went still as the bear watched the scene. When he had snapped out of his trance, he sprinted forward and knelt down to the bunny's side. He hooked an arm behind Bonnie's legs and his other on his back. When he noticed his head was hanging, the bear removed his other hand from his legs to cradle the back of his head and get a closer look.
He felt himself heat up, and his eyes water and grow blurry the longer he looked at the bunny's pained state.
"B-Bonnie! Bonbon?! Please, answer me!" He wept to no avail. The bunny remained unresponsive. The bear had tried gently shaking him, and still, no response. Seeing how hopeless the situation was, Freddy hitched out a sob and nuzzled the bunny's neck and cheek in an attempt to soothe any pain he might be in.
"It's ok, Bon...I'm h-here..." He whimpered quietly for only the bunny to hear.
Finally, the noise caught the attention of security, and a guard jogged over, weilding a flashlight. When they saw the scene, they cursed and rushed towards a phone to call maintenance.
