Everyone stood frozen at a loss of what to do. Bonnie was especially shocked, though.
All of his worrying...just for it all to happen again. Soon, the silence turned into a screaming, panicking mess. Again. Foxy screamed out in shock while Freddy stuttered out words to try to make sense of it. Ballora, on the other hand, was trying to calm down the now growing tension and Bonnie could only stare.
As horrific as it was, it felt less...painful than the last time. Hearing the other guests running in and screaming in panic was all the same, again.
When the authorities arrived and handled the situation, security had tried getting the animatronics settled and back in place. Bonnie's shell-shock had to be cut short as security tried approaching Freddy.
Unlike Foxy and the others, Freddy was not complying. He unexpectedly smacked the security guard away with his strong metal hand. The security guard took a powerful hit and had trouble standing up again.
The bear began rushing forward towards the person again. He was going to get someone hurt!
When he made it to the person, he yelled out and grabbed them from the vest of the man's shirt and threw him again. He was noticeably avoiding any fatal harm to the security, only throwing and roughing him up. But regardless, Bonnie had to put a stop to it.
"FREDDY, PLEASE! IT'S OK!" Bonnie cried. The bear quickly turned to him. To others, he would look enraged, but Bonnie could see the visible fear written on his face.
"Everything is ok! Focus on me, not them!" Bonnie reassured. Thankfully, it seemed he was making progress, as the bear's posture loosened and his eyes focused on the bunny.
His progress was quickly wiped out as a powerful shock emitted from their body, stunning both the bear and the bunny. The next thing the bunny knew, the bear collapsed to the ground, taking him down as well.
Bonnie just shut his eyes and accepted whatever fate would come of them now.
~~
When he opened his eyes again, he was back in a dark party room, alone again.
"Freddy...?" He called. Silence.
"Foxy?? Ballora?!" He cried. When he was met with silence again, he fell to his knees at a loss of what to do. He stared at nothing. He didn't have anything to say, anything to do. He couldn't hear anything around him.
He failed again. He had one job and failed yet again. Not only did he fail Freddy, but he failed all of their new friends, too. Was it even worth trying again?
Bonnie then noticed something...odd. He could still somewhat see and act out as a puppet, yet right now, he was somewhere else, which he only now noticed was a new party room. It's...as if he is living in two places at once.
Bonnie turned to his left and saw something far more shocking.
Freddy!
He was still in rest mode. His fur was now a dark brown, and he wore a simple black vest and hat. He forced himself to stand on shaky legs again and rushed to the bear. He quickly shook him in desperation.
"Freddy?! Freddy, wake up!" He cried. The bear jolted from his sleep and glanced around frantically. When his eyes landed on the bunny, he shared an equally worried expression and gripped the bunny by his shoulders to look him over.
"Bonnie! Bon, are you ok?! Are you hurt??" He fretted. His voice was noticeably deeper and quieter, similar to his old self. It brought back a sense of comfort Bonnie hadn't known he lost.
"Y-yes! I'm fine!" He reassured. Freddy, in response, breathed out in relief and caught him in a tight hug. The bear sobbed into his shoulder brokenly, which triggered newfound emotion in the bunny.
Bonnie hugged back with equal force and whispered reassurances to the bear.
"I don't want to hurt anybody! I don't want to hurt kids anymore!" He wept, gripping the bunny tighter for comfort.
A new sense of motivation hit Bonnie. He was almost considering giving up, yet his partner's words had struck a new cord within him.
His Freddy was there. He was still in there. He was scared, confused, but he was there.
"You won't have to!" He cried, affectionately nuzzling the side of his head.
"You're not going to hurt anyone again, Fred! I promise I won't let you!" He vowed. Freddy shakily nodded and held him tighter.
"T-thank you! Thank you, Bon-!" Freddy stuttered out, returning the affection by pecking the bunny's head gently.
