When the two had finally settled down, they stopped to get a good look at each other. Their new looks were simple, yet they reassembled their original appearances. It felt comfortable and nostalgic.
"Wow, Bon...you uh -" Freddy stumbled over his words as his gaze left the bunny to look at the ground timidly.
"You look... really good..." He said genuinely. Bonnie chuckled, finding his shyness endearing.
"Awe, thank you! You look great, too." He responded. They both jumped at the sound of a loud feminine wail in the building.
It came from an isolated little stage blocked by a curtain. Freddy and Bonnie approached it cautiously before the curtains ripped open, revealing a shorter red fox.
"THIS BE A NIGHTMARE!" Foxy cried.
"Foxy, what's wrong-?" Freddy asked confusedly. The fox turned to him and gestured to his body frantically.
"Look at me! I-I'm..." He stuttered.
"You look like a pirate." Bonnie commented.
"I'M NOT A PIRATE, I'M AN ACTOR!" He wailed again, falling to his knees in defeat.
Freddy rolled his eyes. "You look fine, stop being dramatic -" He complained.
"That be easy for ye' to say, you've always looked bad!" Foxy sobbed. Freddy sighed in defeat while Bonnie could only giggle immaturely.
Bonnie knelt down and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Hey, it's not all bad. Now you have that cool hook." Bonnie reassured.
"Cool what...?" Foxy asked, staring at his hooked hand in horror. The fox let out another scream and continued his pathetic rambling.

When Bonnie woke up on stage again, to his surprise, he was no longer front and center stage with Freddy. He had been moved further back, and Freddy was now in the very front. Bonnie turned to his left in confusion, and to his surprise, there was a new animatronic to his left.
It appeared to be a yellow chicken animatronic, who was still in rest mode. Bonnie walked over and tapped Freddy on the arm, causing him to jolt awake. When the bear turned to him, he gestured to the bird.
"There's a new animatronic." He whispered. The bear turned to the chicken in surprise.
The bunny approached her and tapped her shoulder lightly. He watched as the bird stirred gently from her rest and glanced at him in surprise. When she came to her senses, she immediately retracted and lowered her gaze shyly.
"Hey...what's your name-?" Bonnie asked politely.
"I-I'm Chica!" She responded nervously. Bonnie glanced towards Freddy knowingly, to which the bear returned to the look.
So Chica was recalled. And now she was back. Except, unlike Freddy, she had barely gotten to live beforehand, so she must have no memory at all.
"I'm Bonnie, and this is Freddy." He kept his composure, gesturing to the bear who waved politely to her.
"Well, I'll be...is that Chica??" Foxy asked from below the stage, approaching in awe. The chicken diverted her attention to Foxy. While she did, Bonnie approached Freddy quietly about something bothering him.
"Freddy, they put me further back behind the stage." He whispered. Freddy turned to him.
"Yeah, and?" He asked, clueless.
"But I'm always on you're right, I am always center stage with you." Bonnie whispered more loudly. Freddy sighed.
"It's stage placement, Bonnie. It really doesn't matter." The bear shrugged him off again.
"That's easy for you to say. You're still the center of attention! I am being put behind you-" He complained, trying to remain quiet so Chica would not hear. Freddy scowled, beginning to lose his patience.
"Bonnie, will you drop it? It doesn't matter." He snapped at him. He then approached Chica again to continue the introduction, leaving Bonnie alone in his complex feelings.
~~
"And then he told me to just drop it!" Bonnie complained. He and Foxy we sitting and chatting in the Pirate Cove, as they usually did. They spent all day getting Chica adjusted. Freddy remained in rest mode. He was especially tired nowadays.
The fox nodded, thinking.
"Am I overreacting-?" Bonnie asked unsurely. The fox shook his head.
"Nah, I can see what yer' feelin'. I know I'd be mad if he brushed that off." He shrugged. Bonnie glanced down, his ears dropping solemnly.
"That's the thing, I'm not really mad...it just hurts..." He sighed. Foxy gave him a sympathetic look, offering his arms out for a hug, to which the bunny returned.
"Well, forget about that for now, lad. We have Chica back! That be exciting!" Foxy reassured. The bunny broke away from the hug in realization.
"Oh, yeah!" He announced, crawling towards the curtains to pull them back. He turned his gaze to the stage and whistled, careful not to wake Freddy. The whistle caught the attention of Chica who was playing with her cupcake by him. When she saw the gesture she nervously jogged over.
"Yeah...? Is something wrong-?" She asked timidly. Bonnie smiled.
"Nono, we wanted to know if you want to hang out with us." Bonnie offered. Chica glanced towards Foxy who only shrugged and nodded.
"Let's get to know ya', lass." He said. The bird lit up in excitement at the offer.
"Y-yeah! Sure, I'd love to!" She exclaimed. Bonnie quickly shushed her and reminded her not to wake up Freddy. The three of them just laughed and Chica crawled in to join them in the cove.
