Over the next few days, things started getting easier. Fredbear and Spring Bonnie were still competitive, but they were not nearly as hostile towards each other. The bear admittedly missed when Spring Bonnie was so friendly to him, though. He seems like he would be a good friend.

But how would he even go about repairing their relationship? He did not even know how to change for the better of Bonnie.

Whether the bunny felt the same or not was unclear. One of Fred's main observations and frustrations about Spring Bonnie is how unreadable he was. When he learned this, he began questioning what Bonnie was actually thinking at times. But how could he even figure this bunny out?

While he was below the stage interacting with guests, he was interrupted in his scripted dialogue at the feeling of something running into him from the back. He turned towards the noise, but all he saw was Bonnie rushing the other direction back towards the platofrm. He jumped at the sound of kids laughing at his back and tried turning to see what the issue was. Finally, a mantainence worker gasped and quickly ushered the kids away. When they reached their arm to Freddy's back in order to take the foreign object off, Fredbear realized what it was.

A pizza.

He turned back to Bonnie, who was now back on the stage giggling at his expense. He felt himself heat up in embarrassment. That and, expectedly, rage.

However, another part of him felt...joy. Relieved, you could say. But why? The bunny had embarrassed him in front of the entire restaurant!

And yet, seeing the bunny giggle at him mischievously warmed his...animatronic heart. He felt fondness towards the agitating bunny.

That is why Freddy did not blow up and snap at everyone over this like he would have. It did not feel the same as anger. He could not determine why he was so fascinated and obsessed with an animatronic he still barely knew.

The maintenance worker had brought him away from guests to be cleaned. After an hour or two, most of the pizza sauce was gone, though a stain remained that would need to be fixed later with stronger supplies. He also reeked of pizza, but none of that mattered since he was needed back on stage with Bonnie as soon as possible.

When he was finished backstage and brought up again, he performed his show as usual. It wasn't until after closing that he could speak out.

"Hey, do you smell pizza?" Bonnie asked innocently. Fred groaned.

"Did you throw that pizza at me??" He asked. Bonnie giggled again and turned away.

"Noo- I didn't throw it... I smacked you with it!" He finally broke into a fit of laughter. A part of Freddy's pride wanted to go off on the bunny, but...this could be his chance to work things out. After all, this was the first time the bunny had talked to him in days.

Against his wishes, Fred swallowed his pride and chuckled good-heartedly.

"Yeah, ok, ok... you got me." He shrugged. The bunny visibly lit up at his reaction and turned to him completely with a wide smile on his face. He pointed a finger in Freddy's face smugly.

"Now we're even. After you acted like a jerk before!" He said.

Any shame or regret the bear had for admitting defeat disappeared. He placed a friendly hand on Bonnie's shoulder.

"Yes. Now we're even..." He said. Bonnie pushed his hand off and stepped away, clear amusement on his face.

"Hey, don't touch me! You got pizza fur!" He laughed. Fredbear just grinned at that and continued advancing towards the bunny, to which Bonnie shrieked and darted off the stage. Fredbear could hardly contain his own laughter as he jumped off the stage to continue his pursuit of the bunny.

The chase lasted a few minutes before the bear caught Bonnie in a tight back-hug. He did not let the squirming bunny go until he begged to be released. To Fred's relief, they both just had a good laugh about the whole situation. Mid-laugh, the bear noticed Bonnie was not laughing anymore. In fact, he was approaching a door in caution.

The bear followed him, and the bunny pointed to a sign by the door saying 'storage'.

"I wonder what's in here-?" The bunny turned to him. Fredbear nodded and approached the door, his hand hesitating over the handle.

"Go on. You go first..." the bunny said from behind. The bear turned to him and blinked inquisitively.

"Why am I going first? Shouldn't we go together-?" He asked. The bunny shook his head.

"If something goes wrong, I'll survive." He said. The bear groaned but turned the handle anyway and slowly creaked the door open. He hesitantly peaked inside, squinting his eyes to get a better look.

"...what is this place...?" He asked in awe.

"I don't know, I can't see over your fathead!" The bunny joked, pushing his way forward to look in as well.

Seeing the room was empty, the bunny walked in first and found the light switch to flip on. With the now lit room being visible, they both traveled the room in awe. It as dull, just a metal table in the center and shelves of spare parts of them. There were also tool boxes and paint in piles scattered around the room.

"This must be where they fix us..." Fred said. The bunny giggled.

"Hey Fredbear, over here!" He called. When Fred turned, he nearly jumped in shock at the sight of the bunny holding his entire faceplate in front of his own as a mask.

"Look, I'm you!" He giggled. Fredbear scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Almost. I'm not that annoying." He responded. The bunny playfully hit his arm in response as they both giggled at his jab. When they were finished exploring and fooling around, it was already almost five A.M.

They both made their ways to their assigned spots on stage to power off. Before they did though, the bunny whispered to get the bears attention. When Fred turned, the bunny gave him a warm smile.

"Good luck today, Fred." He gave him a thumbs up. The bear smiled and returned his gesture.

"You too Bon!"

The bear felt a warm and content feeling in his chest region as he recalled what had happened tonight. Unbeknownst to them yet, one suspicious man was just as fascinated with Bonnie as Fred was, but for a different reason.
