The next day started very quickly. One minute they were both asleep, the next they were center stage among a big party of people. There were signs everywhere about a "Grand Opening" but they were not exactly sure what that meant.
Though they had to maintain order until the crowd went away. Throughout the whole day, Freddy could not help but spare side glances at the bunny. Something about him just caught the bear's eye. A few times the bunny made eye contact with him and smiled. The bear had found it flattering until he realized it was actually a smug grin, as more children were crowding around him.
The bear scoffed and tried singing again to get the kids' attention. Although it attracted a few guests, it was not nearly the amount the bunny tracked in. Bonnie notably had a much easier time talking to people than Freddy, as well as more confidence. Freddy began heating up more in subtle anger and jealousy, and his glances at the bunny turned into death glares.
When the day was finally over and building was abandoned, the bear let out a sigh of relief before glaring at the bunny again.
Spring Bonnie turned to him and gave him the most innocent glance he could muster.
"Is something wrong, Fred...?" He asked. Fredbear growled.
"Yes! What was that?! You were hogging the crowd!" He complained. The bunny gasped and placed a hand over his chest in mock offense.
"I would never! It's not my fault people like me better." He shrugged cheekily. The bear heated up even more, storming over to the bunny. To his surprise, the bunny still did not flinch or move away.
"Do you have a death wish, Bonnie?! You seem to trust me too much, I can crush you right now!" The bear threatened. The bunny scoffed.
"But you won't. You don't have it in you." He simply said. Although the bear glared daggers at him, Bonnie did not budge. Finally, Fred let out a frustrated groan and stomped towards his spot on the stage again.
"...Are you done being grumpy now??" The bunny asked sarcastically after a few moments. Freddy just scowled and stubbornly turned away from him. Bonnie rolled his eyes and turned away as well.
"You know, we're not gonna' be friends if you're acting so immature." He said. Fred turned to him.
"I don't care! I don't want to be friends with you!" He snapped. The bunny sighed and shook his head. No more words were spoken that night and both of them shut off early.

The next day, unfortunately, went by even slower. The two avoided eye contact and only focused on themselves, even after they were allowed to leave the stage.
When the day was done however, something new happened.
They were both powered off still, not daring to wake up while people were still in the building. Despite it being passed closing, the managers were still there as well as a few employees staying by to clean. The stage lights were once again left on and revealing the animatronics.
It was just going to be another normal night until Fred woke earlier than usual and he overheard the sound of voices on the stage. He opened his eyes and side-glanced to his partner to make sure he was not seen. Two men were looking Bonnie over and talking.
"You think we should-? I dunno', William-" one man said.
The man in purple he was talking to just shook his head.
"I can make good use out of it...he seems to attract more crowds anyway." The man in the purple button up responded.
Fred struggled not to move, though he felt incredibly antsy...maybe even worried for the bunny. His worry only grew as he watched Bonnie get pushed onto a wheeler and taken off the stage by the two talking men. The bear's anxiety spiked as he watched his partner get taken out.
He almost turned his head when the man in purple stopped and looked back at him and he was forced to shut his eyes again. He could only open them once 'William' left.
When he was finally alone again he stepped forward, a lot of strong emotions filling him at once. He was confused, he was nervous, he was still angry about today,
Dare he say, he was worried?
But why should he be worried for Bonnie? He's just a business partner apparently. Competition.
...but he was so sweet to him in the beginning. And besides that, there was something about the bunny that drew him in, yet he couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was.
The others were gone with Bonnie now. There was no way of knowing where they were, what they were doing, or if Spring Bonnie would be back.
The bear fidgeted with his claws nervously, feeling helpless as all he could do now was wait.
