When the people had left the room, the others quickly awoke with Freddy, all but the one in the front center, Baby.

"Oh my-! Is he going to be ok?? What if he's recalled??" Foxy panicked, his tail lashing in worry.

"R-recalled?!" Freddy asked in confusion.

"That was very brave of him." Ballora spoke up. When Freddy turned to her, she continued.

"He is a good friend to protect you like that." She repeated her point. Freddy glanced down at his feet.

"If that's what being a friend is, count me out!" Foxy declared.

"But you sound just as worried for him as Freddy." She said calmly. Foxy turned to her defensively.

"I'm not worried about him, I am worried about me being next!" He claimed.

"He'll be fine!" Freddy yelled. When the others turned to him in confusion, he continued.

"He... Bonnie is smart... he did this on purpose! He has to know what he's doing, he..
He'll be fine..." Freddy muttered the last part, sounding unsure himself. Ballora nodded.

"And you're a good friend for being worried and for trusting him." She praised. Freddy glanced down sheepishly.

"Nothing is going to happen." A new voice finally spoke up. Everyone turned towards the front at the unmoving Circus Baby.

"They would not recall an animatronic simply for a glitching voice. He will be back soon." She said.

"B-but Chica-" Foxy tried arguing.

"Chica was a different case. They felt children would not like her, rendering her useless to our real purpose. Bonnie is essential to Freddy, so they will not get rid of him." She countered, her gaze still unmoving.

"I hope you're right..." Freddy gazed down again, his eyes watering slightly.

"He should be back soon anyway. We are open tomorrow, and Freddy cannot perform without a puppet." Ballora added. Foxy nodded and returned to his neutral position, concern still visible on his face.

Freddy woke up to a familiar feeling of a puppet connected to his arm. He eased up in relief and turned to his right only to find something he did not expect.

There was a new puppet on him arm, a bunny just like Bonnie, only pink.

"W-what the...?" Foxy muttered from the side, staring at the new puppet in confusion.

"Did they give him a new color??" He asked. The puppet abruptly woke up, their eyes a light green rather than pink.

"B-Bonnie...?" Freddy asked. The puppet turned to him.

"Nope! I'm Bonnet!" She corrected, glancing around oblivious of the tension.

"W-where is Bonnie-?" Foxy asked her. She turned to him and shrugged.

"No idea who you're talking about!" She smiled. Freddy's whole body ran cold.

Did they really just replace his partner...?

"No... no, no, no!" Freddy cried in panic, stumbling backward towards the dancer. Ballora caught him by the shoulders, trying to keep him away.

"Freddy, please! There must be a reasonable explanation!" She tried.

"WHAT REASON?! NOTHING IS REASONABLE! HE'S GONE, THEY'RE REPLACING-" Freddy was screaming and visibly panicking as oil poured down his eyes freely now, much to the now confused and worried Bonnet.

"Freddy, will you relax?! We're not gonna' get anywhere with your yelling!" He scowled.

"BONNIE IS GONE, FOXY! BON-" Freddy's voice was beginning to glitch and warp as more panic bled through.

"But I'm right here?!" Bonnet asked confusedly.

"He means the other Bonnie!" Foxy yelled frustratedly.

"I thought I was Bonnie??" She asked.

"No, you're the other Bonnie!" Foxy corrected.

"Bon-bon-!" Freddy wept brokenly.

"Am I Bon-bon??"

"NO YOU'RE BONNIE!"

"I THOUGHT I WAS BONNET?!"

There was a loud crash that quickly put an end to the chaos. Everyone turned to Baby, who now faced them. Her face plates were now opened, and her light blue eyes flashed in a threatening manner.

"They had made a back-up puppet for Freddy when Bonnie was unavailable. That is who Bonnet is." She said, authority clear in her voice.

"So Bonnie is ok?!" Foxy asked. Baby nodded.

"Bonnet is just filling in for today. They must be taking longer on Bonnie." She said. Everyone visibly relaxed and stepped back to their spots. Today would be a long day.

Every second away from Bonnie felt like years to the bear, and the aching feeling in his joints remained the rest of the day.
