"You're ok with this happening??" Freddy asked. Bonnie chuckled.
"It's harmless fun! They're just rough housing." He shrugged off. The two of them watched from the couch as Roxanne and Chica were playfighting together in Chica's room.
"Look at how big Roxanne is to her, though! Chica could get hurt-" Freddy spoke quietly. Bonnie shook his head and smiled.
"She'll be ok. You worry too much, Fred." Bonnie glanced down to his bowling ball he was cleaning on his lap. Freddy sighed and continued to watch them cautiously. Bonnie suddenly glanced up as if he heard something. Freddy turned to him in concern.
"Bon, what's wrong?" He asked. Bonnie's ears lowered, and he glanced down again, his eyes tearing up.
"I-I have to recharge... I'm low on battery..." He muttered before standing up. He was stopped from leaving as Freddy held his wrist protectively. Bonnie turned to him as Freddy silently pleaded with him not to leave. He could not let Bonnie possibly be hurt again. Bonnie sighed and lowered the hand to lock fingers with Freddy. He gave his hand a tight squeeze before making eye contact again.
"...I have to go, hun." He whispered. Freddy's frowned, and his ears fell.
"Can I come with you at least??" Freddy questioned quietly. Bonnie chuckled.
"I'm just going to recharge, Fred. I'll be fine." He insisted. Freddy still did not believe him, but he hesitantly loosened his grip on the bunny's hand. The bunny lifted Freddy's hand to gently kiss his palm affectionately, hoping to ease any stress he had.
"I'll see you tomorrow, honey."
Freddy finally let go of his hand. He watched helplessly as the bunny left again. Was he actually going to recharge? Freddy doubted it... but what could he do?

The injuries kept appearing. It was becoming common for Bonnie to leave and come back emotionally distraught and even physically injured. But, as he promised, he came to Freddy whenever he felt hurt or afraid.
Eventually, it seemed that being more open and vulnerable with Freddy helped lift his mood. He was having fewer breakdowns, and he started feeling a bit happier. It wasn't much, and Freddy still wished Bonnie would tell him what's going on, but as long as he was safe and not hiding his feelings from him, this was ok.
These thoughts were clouding Freddy's head as he walked aimlessly through the halls of Pizza Plex. That bunny has truly become his whole world. Bonnie brings him so much love and joy... but also worry and frustration. Freddy sighed and glanced over the balcony.
But he loves Bonnie. He would do anything for him, even if it meant working extra hard to keep him safe. Freddy's ears flicked upwards as he heard someone approaching. When he turned, he smiled at Bonnie, who was still wearing his bowling shirt and carrying a ball.
The bunny offered a small smile back but leaned on the balcony looking solemn.
"Freddy...?" He asked. The bear turned, giving his full attention to him as it seemed Bonnie had a lot on his mind.
"I-I'm sorry about... everything that's b-been going on with me... I know it's difficult, I was trying to keep you out of it, but..." He diverted his gaze.
"I-I know I'm not... the same Bonnie as before... and... I don't want to keep burdening you like this... if you want to stop talking, I-I don't blame you..." His eyes teared up. Freddy paused to take in what he said. He sighed and stood in front of the bunny while Bonnie leaned on the balcony.
"Do not speak like that... you are Bonnie! You are still the sweet... occasionally, petty bunny I fell in love with so long ago!" He insisted. Bonnie giggled lightly at the jab but still appeared unphased. The bear lifted his chin up to speak to him eye to eye.
"You have helped me and taken care of me for so long... I was immature... I was childish... but you turned me into the bear I am today. You kept me going every time I thought of shutting down or giving up... you kept all of us going." He rambled. Bonnie glanced in awe, rendered speechless from his proclamation. After a few seconds, he smiled and lifted his hands to cup the bear's cheeks softly.
"You're still childish, honey." He teased. Freddy rolled his eyes but smiled back nonetheless. He lifted his own hand to place over Bonnie's hands that still cradled his face and gazed into his eyes with all of the love and devotion he could express.
"I need you, Bonnie... no one could ever be you... I couldn't live on without you, Bon. You are a part of me." He rambled.
"...I will never stop loving you... you are my brightest star." He stated honestly. Bonnie was silent and began tearing up again, making Freddy fear he said the wrong thing. Before he could recoil and apologize, Bonnie pulled his head in and kissed him deeply. It was a longer, more intimate kiss that the bear melted into immediately. Freddy did not pull away but lowered his head to gently kiss Bonnie's neck and then chest. He lowered his hands to Bonnie's sides and rested his head in the crook of the bunny's neck whilst Bonnie stroked and lightly scratched the back of Freddy's head affectionately.
When they finally pulled away, they locked eyes a comfortable silence that lasted a few seconds, basking in each other's company. Finally, Bonnie spoke up. He wiped his eyes off as he struggled with words to say.
"I love you so much, Fredbear!" He laughed emotionally, a wide smile speading across his face. Freddy laughed and wrapped his arms tightly around the bunny and lifted him off the ground.
"I love you more, starshine!" He assured.

It's the end!!
Thank you so much for reading, all of your support means so much to me, even just reading the story and not leaving likes is a huge deal for me so thank you so much all of you! 🤍
Assuming you read all the stories in order already (including 'New Beginnings'), you have officially made it to the end of the series! 'Anti-hero', the third book, I feel it was very poorly written, I was in a bad headspace and lost motivation for it very quickly. I'm going to be rewriting it, so it is going to be unpublished for like a day, and then it will start up again. It'll be a lot longer and better written, and I'm even changing certain scenes a bit. If you're interested you can read it.
But that's all optional, you made it. Thank you for the support. If you have any comments or questions, I'd love to hear them! I am a multi-fandom account and have been in a lot of fandoms, so if you have any stories for other games or just want more FNAF stories, let me know!
And if you want to see more art for FNAF and all, you can visit my tumblr @odd-g0ul because it's easier to post art there. There's also an ask box. Feel free to ask anything in there, too!
But I hope you have a good rest of your day/night, and thank you again for your support!! 🙏
