All good things must come to an end. Sometimes, just when you think nothing can go wrong, it will. You can lose everything in an instant. Everything you worked for, everything you are.
You can lose all of your innocence in the blink of an eye.
All it takes is one.
Little.
Slip.

CLASH!
When Spring Bonnie turned to the noise, he had to recoil in horror.
Fred stood now unresponsive. Trapped in his jaws was the head of a small child, the face of them hardly recognizable through the amount of blood and the blunt force of the bear's jaw coming down onto their skull. The child themself limply hung out of his mouth, completely unresponsive as well.
Bonnie's head shot to the side at the sound of a woman wailing in terror. No sooner than that, numerous voices were screaming and fleeing the scene.
It was utter chaos, and the bunny's head was spinning in turmoil at all of the noise around him. His first instinct was to turn and try to deesculate. Calm the children down as much as he could, just as he was programmed to. The only kid he could catch sight of was one older kid presenting himself in a fox mask. He only stood frozen in equal horror, unaware of the bunny's efforts. The utter fear on his face directed at the bear haunted the bunny. When he turned to catch the eye of any other children, they all only screamed and ran. They stared at him as if he was a monster.
He turned his attention back to his partner quickly and rushed forward to shake at him and tried desperately to tune out the sounds of crying and screaming around him.
"Fred?? Fredbear?!" He cried desperately. His partner remained frozen in time. Before he could do anymore, he swiftly had to freeze in his place as well, as the infamous owner of the restaurant sprinted into the party room and froze in dread.

The rest of the incident was a blur. Spring Bonnie was still on his stage now, clutching his guitar in his trembling hands and staring at nothing in particular.
He stood alone on stage.
Fredbear was taken to the back. There was no guarantee he would ever be back. And if he did not come back, the bunny was surely to follow.
The bunny side glanced at his spot on the stage. The blood was cleaned, but a stain remained in the wood. He turned to his side and noticed a few small droplets of blood staining his coat as well.
Bonnie had never imagined he would witness such an atrocity. Nor did he think his partner would.
The silence was defeaning, and his nerves were spiking in anxiety for what was to come for them. For Fredbear.
The sight of the child's limp body remained in his head. It was stuck, burned into whatever mind he had. The sounds of children and parents screaming and crying in fear of them. Children, the very people they were meant to enterain, had stared at them in nothing but trepidation.
Finally, he broke.
He collapsed to his knees weakly and threw his guitar down, showing little care for the damage. He huddled in on himself as much as his robotic parts could and sobbed weakly into his hands.
He did not even care for the liquid pouring from his eyes. None of it mattered to him.
He never wanted them to be responsible for something so horrible! The blood of an innocent child was stained into his fur, into his partner's fur, on the very stage they would stand on and brighten the kids' days.
Where did they go so wrong? Why did this have to happen to them?
What was going to happen to them??
Where was Fred...?
Bonnie's sobs grew even louder, and his worry for the bear only growing.
He had never felt so alone.

When he had eavesdropped on a conversation between a few of the workers, a certain word caught his attention.
"Recalled"
The bunny carefully listened in.
"Are they still going to open the other locations?" One voice asked.
"Yeah, but they're gonna' recall the bear. Fix him up."
What's a recall? The bunny thought. Thankfully, the other person seemed equally confused.
"Recall-?" They asked.
"Yeah. They're going to change up his programming to make him less aggressive. Basically, change the character up completely.
Change...?
They were going to change his partner?
His partner wasn't aggressive!
