Bonnie had forced himself to limp to Parts and Service. When they found him, he was repaired rather quickly since his injuries were not too severe.

Once he was returned to his greenroom, just a few seconds after maintenance left, he jumped in alarm at frantic knocking on his door, falling on his back and stumbling backward.

"H-hello?!" Bonnie stuttered, anxiety welling up within him at the thought of one of them being back.

"Bonnie, are you in here?!" Freddy called from the other side. Bonnie relaxed at the sound of his partner's voice.

"Y-yeah...come in!" He confirmed. The bear hurried through the door and knelt in front of the bunny, reaching his arms out to hold him. Bonnie was not paying attention, and when he felt Freddy's hands on him, his fight or flight kicked in, and he instinctively flinched and backed away again. The bear froze when he saw this.

"B-Bon, it's me! Are you ok??" He fretted. The bunny wiped a hand over his face and sighed.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine..." He muttered.

"Y-you... looked scared when I touched you..." the bear stuttered, his eyes widening in worry. The bunny was quick to reassure him.

"N-no! It's not like that...my..." Bonnie hesitated, remembering he could not tell Freddy what happened.

"My...my censors are still not clear..." He muttered.

"Security told me you were hurt when they found you..." The bear reminded. When Bonnie saw his eyes begin to water, he leaned forward onto his knees and cupped the bear's cheeks in his hands affectionately, wiping the new tears with his thumbs. Freddy sniffled and lifted his own hand to place over Bonnie's, nuzzling the bunny's palm in gratitude.

"I'm ok, Fred. I just fell is all...I couldn't make it back to my recharge station and shut off." He lied through his teeth. The bear hitched out a quiet sob.

"I...I was scared, Bonnie..." His voice shook. The bear leaned forward swiftly and wrapped his strong arms around the bunny's torso, pulling him onto his lap to straddle his side and face him. The bunny scooted closer and kept his hands on Freddy's cheeks, leaning in and looking intently into the bear's eyes.

"I had sensed you were hurt... but I... I couldn't help you!" He cried, gripping the bunny tighter. The bunny's heart melted hearing the bear's concern for him. He leaned up and kissed his forehead affectionately.

"You are moving slow...did you get enough rest?" He asked. The bear pulled away but kept him on his lap, glancing down shamefully.

"N-no...I only charged for 10 minutes and 32 seconds since you were gone..." He admitted. When Bonnie sighed, Freddy quickly defended himself.

"I am so sorry! I-I know you do not like it when I do not take care of myself...I tried so hard to sleep, but I could not! Not until you were safe!" He cried. The bunny swiftly shushed him, kissing his cheek gently and lifting his head up to face him.

"Freddy, please! I'm not mad, it's ok...I get it." He assured. The bear sniffled and hugged the bunny tight again, burying his muzzle into Bonnie's chest, the bunny tightening his grip onto the bear as well.

"Where's Chica, honey?" Bonnie asked softly.

"S-she is having a check-up in Parts and Service...I had mine already." He answered, keeping himself as close to the bunny as he could. Bonnie chuckled, stroking the fur on the top of his head lovingly.

"You haven't slept, hun. You need to get on that." He smiled. The bear diverted his gaze shyly.

"A-about that..." He began awkwardly. Bonnie's head tilted to the side in curiosity.

"We... could not do this in the past... but, now that we have our own rooms... I wanted to try resting... together...?" He proposed shyly.

"I-I know, it's silly-" His ears lowered. Bonnie smiled.

"I would love that, Fred." He answered. Freddy perked up at that answer.

"R-really?!"

"Yes, really." Bonnie chuckled. "Close the curtains."

Freddy's ears wiggled joyfully, and he hurriedly jogged over to give them more privacy while Bonnie made his way to the sofa. When the bear was done, he collapsed sideways onto the couch, inviting the smaller bunny to rest with him.

"Bonnie, we need you to meet us." The familiar deep voice spoke.

"W-what?? I'm about to perform, it has to wait!" Bonnie warned.

"It cannot wait, you need to meet us."

"I can't just not perform! We're on stage in five minutes!" Bonnie countered.

"So you had better get here quickly." The voice demanded.

"N-no! I'll go right after the show, I really can't go now." Bonnie affirmed, picking up his bass and heading to the door.

The performance was going smoothly for the most part, it wasn't until they neared the end that things took a turn for the worst.

As Bonnie was playing, his right ear twitched at a small sound from above. He had tried ignoring it until he heard it again. The bunny continued playing but glanced up quickly.

To his horror, one of the lights from the higher catwalks above stage was dangling on a loose string. The light was just above Freddy's head.

Bonnie knew the cord was about to snap, so he thought fast. He stopped playing and sprinted towards the leader. He had not thought his idea through. His priority was saving Freddy. When he had gotten close enough, he lunged forward, tackling the leader and shoving both of them out of the way. Freddy landed on his back while Bonnie fell on top of him. Before the bear could question his actions, the light came crashing down right by their feet.

Both of them stared in horror at the now shattered light. Chica had jogged forward to look herself. Security rushed on stage to cancel the show, and the animatronics were hurried off stage. As they left, Bonnie overheard the voice again.

"That was just a warning. Meet us at the first aid station in the Maintenance Tunnels immediately." Bonnie nearly gasped in terror, remembering too late that the others were in danger if he did not listen. He felt a hand grip his shoulder and turn him around.

"Bonnie! Are you ok?!" Freddy asked, sounding genuinely concerned. The bunny snapped out of his daze.

"Y-yeah, are you??" He asked. The bear nodded. Chica jogged over to check on them as well, but the bunny stepped away.

"I have to leave really quick guys, sorry-" He said. Chica eyed him in confusion.

"Where?" She inquired.

"Parts and Service. I-I need to check on something." He lied.

"Oh! I can go with you-" Freddy offered. Bonnie smiled kindly.

"No, Freddy...I know how tired you get after shows. Get some rest, I'll be ok." He assured. The bear glanced down somberly but nodded in understanding.

"It won't take long, you two!" Bonnie waved before jogging off to the location.
