The party had gone well enough, though Bonnie could not be on top of his game since he still felt something was coming.
It was finally past closing as usual. Chica was in the kitchen, Foxy was resting in his cove, leaving Bonnie alone to his thoughts while Freddy slept. Freddy always rested the most. Bonnie's not sure why Freddy needs so much sleep, but the bunny didn't want to get in the way of that. Speak of the devil, Freddy had woken up drowsy.
"Morning, sleepy-head." Bonnie joked. Freddy chuckled. He turned and approached Bonnie.
"Morning, Bon." He placed a gentle hand on Bonnie's shoulder and gave him a quick peck on the head.
Bonnie's ear twitched at the sound of a new song coming on. They had been playing this song all the time now. In all honesty, it wasn't bad, just repetitive.
"They're playing that song again." Bonnie mentioned. Freddy nodded when he heard it.
"Do they have any other songs??" He asked rethorically. Bonnie giggled.
"It's catchy, though." He remarked. Freddy sighed.
"I guess so." He thought out loud. The bunny grinned playfully.
"Can you dance, Fred?" He asked. Freddy was caught off guard by that.
"I-I don't know, I don't think I've tried..." He glanced at his feet. Bonnie chuckled.
"Neither have I!" He remarked, grabbing Freddy's hands.
"W-what are you doing?" Freddy questioned in alarm. Bonnie pulled him closer.
"I want to learn to dance, don't you?" He asked. Freddy's face heated up.
"I-I don't know...I'm going to embarrass myself!" Freddy complained.
"Aww, you won't...I can't dance either, Fred." Bonnie reassured. Freddy still hesitated so Bonnie wrapped his arms around his shoulders and forced them closer, to which Freddy hesitantly placed his arms on Bonnie's side.
"So...? Now what?" Freddy asked. Bonnie shrugged.
"Let's figure it out!" He grinned. They started with uneasy steps.
"Freddy...we're supposed to be in sync." Bonnie teased. Freddy scowled, though there was zero anger or frustration in it.
"We're not communicating enough!" He whined. Bonnie laughed and stopped them.
"Ok, I'll start with the right." Bonnie clarified. The bear nodded and they began again. They were shaky and unclear at first, but eventually found a rhythm. A new song had come on but it didn't really matter.
They were beginning to lose their flow as their eyes locked on each other. Bonnie's body felt weaker under his gaze. When the song stopped Freddy suddenly grabbed Bonnie's wrist. Before the bunny could ask he swiftly guided him to the supply closet. When they were in he closed the door.
"Freddy-? What's going on-" He asked. The bear sighed.
"Sorry, sorry...I just...really wanted to kiss you." He muttered. Bonnie rolled his eyes but smiled softly at him. He gently wrapped his arms around the bear's neck and pulled him closer.
"Get on with it, then." He teased. Freddy did not need to be told twice. He cupped the bunny's face in his hands and leaned in so their lips could connect. Bonnie had assumed it was just like their other kisses. Short, sweet, and to the point. This time though, it was different.
The bear tilted his head to deepen the kiss. The bunny was confused but went with it either way. It felt different than their other kisses. Bonnie was heating up rapidly and his whole gut was flipping and knotting. He experimentally pulled the bear closer and followed along, getting as close to eachother as they could. He ignored the wobbling that was happening with both of them. It was a good thing security only checked the cameras when something bad happens.
