Heyyy, this is my first time writing a fanfic, as you saw in the title...
Oh lords so here we go with the (very late) anniversary special- I present to you the entire backstory of Lumine, from her origins to the present. Also, there is an important thing at the end hehe

So i made a family tree to show the entire thingy, but basically while Lumine and her brother Archer (if you remember from the 'Prophecy unraveled' chapter) are direct children of Poseidon, yet they are also legacies of Nyx. Aether is Lumine's brother through her mother's sister. But Lumine's closest blood relative apart from her mom would be Archer, with Aether coming at no. 2.
So those of yall who betted on Nyx in the comment chain, you're absolutely right.
Now lets get to the story part.
Nyx had a childe with some mortal guy from somewhere who was lucky (or unlucky) enough to catch her attention. That child was Lumine and Archer's mom. Since her dad was mortal, Lumi's mom was also mortal. Thus she was abandoned by Nyx and she led a normal demigod life at Camp Half Blood, as an unclaimed demigod. But she already knew her origins, so its just that no one else at camp knew, apart from Chiron. When she grew up (yes she actually managed to survive through her thirties) she had a child with Poseidon, a son named Archer. A few years later, however, she again attracted Poseidon's attention (its basically like how he was with Sally but more) and had another child with Poseidon, NOT Neptune, called Lumine. So its basically like Jason and Thalia, except both times the dad is Greek.
Lets take a timeskip, and now both Archer and Lumine are nicely in their late teens. Something major had happened some time ago- The first Titan War. In my AU, there are Titan Wars regularly, etc a 100 years or so. Archer was the prophecy holder of the first Titan War, and he did survive. So did Lumine, their mom, and most of their loved ones.
Then comes Lumine's prophecy. Surprisingly, it is only a few years after Archer's prophecy. By this time she had been to Olympus and had met her godly siblings- aka Barbatos, Morax, Makoto, Ei, Rukkhadevata, [original Hydro archon], [original pyro archon], [original cryo archon]. Here's what I think about what the Seven's godly roots were:-
Barbatos- Zeus
Morax- Hades
Makoto, Ei- Zeus
Rukkhadevata- Demeter
[pyro archon]- Ares
[hydro archon]- Poseidon
[cryo archon]- Poseidon
Now, at this point, the Seven were only minor godlings, just become gods. They all easily accepted Lumine and Archer as their siblings.
