Emma POV

I wonder who Daryl likes? She sure is some lucky girl. Though it's probably wrong for me to look at him, after all, I slept with his brother I'm sure Merle wouldn't mind he'd probably say something disgusting like that I'd want a Dixon sandwich. Though there were other times when he could be sweet.

Flashback twelve weeks after the first time

"Oh god, Merle! Oh god, damn you. That's it right there."

I suppose we are playing Russian roulette but I don't care I've started to fall for this man yeah he can be rough on the outside but I think he's sweet, especially when he calls me sweet cheeks I do love being called that. I got up I felt queasy.

"I told ya not to eat that last night missy. Peanut butter and pigs feet babe you had to have yourself a redneck brunch you look bad." I went to the bathroom and threw up last night's dinner.

Merle and I walk to the wall and then a helicopter comes overhead, it looks like it's in trouble.

"Girl I gotta get the governor, need to find that."

"Okay be careful babe." He kisses me and leaves me on the fence.

Hours later...

I see the cars coming back. I jump down from the gate and open it. Merle gets out I go to hug him like I do when he comes back and I can see he's pissed they've brought back people who look like two women and a soldier.

"Merle? You okay?"

"I'm busy here woman."

"Fine. Okay, I'll see you at home." I walked home and climbed into bed and went to sleep. I woke up being kissed. "Go away, Merle."

"You don't mean that. You want some Merle."

"Yeah, I do. But if you don't want to talk to me then I don't want you."

"I'm sorry girl I couldn't talk in front of the governor or the new people. I need you baby can you at least hold me?" I roll over towards him.

"I'm sorry. What's wrong baby? Can you please tell me?"

"One of the girls brought in today she was with my brother eight months ago so he was alive then but I don't know now."

"I'm sure he is if he is anything like you he will be."

"My brother was always the sweet one, my little brother you'd have liked him. And you know the rules nothing but a Dixon can kill a Dixon."

"Merle you know I love you right?"

"You shouldn't I'm no good."

"Yes, you are Merle. I know there is a good man inside you. You just need someone to say to you that you are worth it."

"Thank you, Emma. You know besides Daryl you're the only person to love me."

"Well, that makes me sad. You're a good man Merle no matter what that dick makes you do. The governor is no good you know that right."
